Not As Bad As You Think

i used to have perfect skin but soon developed a line of spots on both cheeks which lead to acne after trying LOADS of different creams and stop zapping sticks yet nothing seemed to work. i was going through medicine draw and found this and i applied it at night only a small layer after removing all make up and washing face and in the morning i had noticed their was no redness or dry skin since my face gets oily by the hour and also found it very affective as my acne actually did infact reduce i washed my face thoroughly in the morning to remove all residue and then applied make up after moisturizing skin with no7 cleanser and i had no flakyness all day and acne was also tamed i have put it on again after removing make up and its just amazing. seems to work better on people who have very oily skin as it also controls the oils and pours :)

Panoxyl 2.5 Aquagel

I've been using 'Zineryt' cream on my skin for acne for about a year now, but it stopped working and wasn't strong enough, so we went back to the doctors and they gave me the Panoxyl Aquagel, 2.5. The doctor said it would bleach my skin, but I still went with his advice and applied it Tuesday night, and the next morning it just seemed a bit dry. I applied it again Wednesday night, and Thursday morning I woke up and my face was bright red, on fire, dry, peeling, tight. It was horrible. I was in pain all day at school, everyone thought i was wearing tonnes of foundation because it was so orange! I have been taking piriteeze and calpol since. I'm now applying sudocrem everyday, and it seems to be healing my skin. I wouldn't reccommend it to anybody, but if you have applied it and are suffering these symptons, I'd say keep taking pain relief, and apply sudocrem! It was a saviour for me. Apply it in the day, then at night gently rinse it off with warm water, then apply a moisturizer at night. When you wake up rinse it with water again and put the sudocrem on! Vaseline also helps to loosen your skin up a bit. Hope this helps!

The Best Product Ever For Acne!!!

I usually get spots on my forehead like they are really bad. Last year my sister told me about this product and I can tell you it cleared my acne within 5 days but u need to be prepared for your face to look worse than how it was before u started using panoxy, but if you stick to it u will be so happy at the end. You also need to use a moisturiser on after the panoxy cause it can dry out your skin really bad.

Great treatment for acne;i have had horrible breakouts all through my teenage years,i tried lots of treatments for it but it got worse during pregnancy, as most of the acne formed abscess and looked like boils, in fact i cannot remember having an acne less face until recently,i was introduced by a pharmacologist to use Dalacin C capsule and apply panoxyl -10 Aqua gel and in a week wow,i tell you the truth my face was cleared off the breakouts i had struggled with for years.Athough i had to apply neutrogena body lotion moisturizer after few minutes of using panoxyl so my skin don't get dried, red and wrinkled but the product is best for acne.

Dont Buy This.

This dident help my spots at all, all it did is dry my face out and gave me excema looking skin, it dident help with my spots and i applied this twice everyday, i tried the 2.5 and the 5 both did not help me, so not only did this product not help with my spots but gave me a dry skin rash which i am now having to cure with heaps of moisturiser.

it took me a few weeks for my skin to repair, i had to wear intense moisturise during night and day for my skin to get back to normal.

Not For Sensitive Skin!!

I had the perfect skin but then i started to get a few spots which eventually developed

Into acne, I tried everything then I turned to organic products which were great for my

Skin but I still had spots, since I'm a teenager and care about my appearance I turned to the

Pharmasist which assured me that it was suitable for my skin type and would clear up spots in no

Time, that night I applied a thin layer as instructed on the leaflet. I woke up that morning with a SWOLLEN,

RED, FLAKY and ITCHY Skin! It looked like I was sunburnt and was very irritating I suggest if you have sensitive

Skin do not buy this product!!!! Also when I researched it after it's very bad for skin!!!

Panoxyl Aquagel

It has worked wonders for me, still get the odd spot but it is so helpful! I have experienced a little bit of redness/dryness but you just need to continue with it and it it fine! I get acne on my back too and have experienced it bleaching clothes and being harsher on my back but the acne has improved so i am happy! Best thing is it was free from my doctors:D Overall, greatly helpful and confidence boosting!

Im In Two Minds :( !!!

My doctor prescribed this to me when I had a massive breakout due to stress (I am a 16 year old worrier!). I had heard amazing reveiws about this off youtube beauty gurus, and also my friends. I started using it and thought it was amazing my breakout cleared up and everything was fine.

Then, a week later I had another breakout :( which I think was due to it being my 'time of the month'.

My skin was really bad again, I usually only get really bad breakouts on the bottom of my cheeks and a little on my chin, but this time they were all over; forehead, cheeks, sides of my nose and all over my chin.

I applied the product onto a clean face free of any moisteriser etc as stated on the instructions, not really thinking anything of it and then went to sleep. The next day I woke up the spots were clearing slightly, so I decided to have a no make up day, (heartbreaking 3) I applied the cream again in the morning, was fine; spots were going, I was pleased.

After sleeping with freshly applied cream on, I woke up the next day with red patches around where I had applied the cream, and skin that felt really dry, not really thinking much of this I got ready as usual, not applying cream as my spots were clearing quite alot and it does make my make-up go ever so slightly patchy, applied moisteriser and went on with my day.

The next day I woke up in horror (exageration! altough it was not good) my face was dry, sore and flaky (it hurt to smile) :(. The dry areas felt burnt, like sunburn and areas were peeling again like sunburn. The dry sections on my face even hurt when coming into contact with water.

I covered my face in ALOT of my favourite Oilatum Natural Repair face cream (amazing!).

This went on for two days of my face being red, sore, dry and flaky in the patches where I had applied the cream, although almost spot free! :\

Hence the reason I'm in two minds, this cream does its job, but I would much rather my face didnt hurt so much afterwards!

Panoxyl 2.5% aquagel is a good product, it works as it should, it may clear my breakouts up but makes my skin excessively dry and sore which is not what I want from it.

I will continue to use Panoxyl and try and be more careful about the amounts I apply but be warned a little goes a long way! (ONLY APPLY TO AFFECTED AREA) Hope this may have helped somebody! xxxxxx

This Cream Is Fabulous. I Have Had Acne Now For O

This cream is fabulous. I have had acne now for over 3 years on and off and the spots were stubborn, they just kept coming back and the area where i got them just around my mouth was always itching and I felt like there was an outbreak on the way.

I got Panoxyl 2.5 gel 5 days ago and the spots have gone!! At first it dried up my skin but immediately the itchiness went and now after 5 days all I have is a little redness where the spots where.

This cream is definately worth getting

Q&A

liyamirza

My doctor prescribed 'bengel' for me, which is benozyl peroxide gel. I have sensitive skin. I haven't started using the ointment yet. But reading the reviews here, I'm a little scared. Will that gel do any harm to my face, make it worse or something? The doctor said to use it at night. Will the spots clear? I have redness on my face more than acne. And will it reduce the pore size?
