Yorkshire Fragrance Soap

They just seem to decide out of the blue to not fulfil an order, awful non-existent customer service, many items constantly out of stock. Beware is all I can say

After reading the reviews I was a little dubious, but i'd already placed the order so I thought hefo how. I've paid through PayPal so it should be ok.

What can I say? They've been great!

Communicated with an email within minute of placing the order confirming their lead times.

Emailed me straight away to let me know one item wasn't in stock and what would I like to change it to. And all emails responded to politely and quickly.

Order arrived early well before I was expecting it and everything in place, no unannounced substitutions and a ok.

Customer service has been great throughout and so is the product quality

I did run a very good little shop in Barnsley but i have to close it due to other things going on but i used to order from these & they never got my order right & all my orders used to be well over £150 if not more but yet it always took over 2 weeks to get my order then their was things missing then when i got in contact with them it was the so called "MD" which could not care less, so i would say if you need this sort of stuff there is other wholesalers that sell the same if not better & go to them that,s what i did after a while & got a much better service.

I have shopped Yorkshire Fragrance for about a year and except a few problems thought they were a reliable company. However this time round my order was short one item. I contacted them straight away and was told the item had been sent. Well it hadn't so I ensured them of this and that I was not the only one to see this.

Their response was terse and angry telling me that they would no longer be able to fulfil my orders,

Customer service is appalling and I am now out of pocket for the missing item and will have to tell my customer who ordered it ready for her up and coming wedding that I don't have it. I recommend that if possible you do not use Yorkshire Fragrance.

As alot of reviews have already said, customer service is not their strong point. My very first order was for £30 odd, not realising minimum order was £50, website when ordering does take payment for small amounts whereas other websites tell you how much more you need to order. I received a very abrupt email stating monies have been refunded as order too small. With the abruptness of that email, I said I would never order from them as they were sooooo rude! However, I relented and placed an order. I was very surprised with their products, soaps are gorgeous and pre cut which is great. Bath bombs smell divine and granules are great. I have found them to be just as abrupt on the phone as they are in emails though!! If it wasnt for such lovely products, I would have no dealings with this company. They have got their products spot on with great prices ...... now they just need huge lessons in customer service and looking after the customers they have!!!! It doesnt take much to be nice to your customers that are growing your business .... if I treated my customers the way they treat theirs, I would be out of business within a week!!!! Please, Yorkshire Fragrance, treat your customers with respect!!! Great products though!!

I have not received such bad customer service in a long time - Waiting on a delivery which still had not turned up so called to find out where it was- i was told that it was not sent out as it was under a £50 order. ( However the order came to £56) I explained that you could have notified us instead they just did not send it out. I was told that you should ave read the terms and conditions. No apology- Nothing. I would not order from this company at all there are simply so many more excellent company's out there that I would prefer to spend money with.

I run a small bussienss in barnsley and have delt with this so called company many time before i have had things delivered about 2 weeks after they were ordered this time i have offered to go and pick up my order but the so called MD John said it is mail order only which is wrong on there website it says you can pick up your order from them, sorry this is NOT a good company to deal with, if i was you i would look at some where ealse

I have found the soap products to be about the best and cheapest on the market. With some stunning arrays of fragrance

For the 1st time my last order was done over the internet and posted received it within 3 working days. (Normally I ring up and collect about 3 or 4 days later)

This is a family run business and I have always found them efficient and friendly to deal with, never had any problems, if anything is out of

stock they have rung me and let me know so that I could pick replacement fragrances.

I would certainly recommend any one starting up in the aromatherapy trade to deal with them and have already done so.

The excuse given for delay in delivery that "it's Christmas" doesn't wash - it's just as close to Christmas for me and I hope never to offer my customers such shoddy service or treat them with such lack of courtesy.

I contacted yorkshire fragrance and placed an order for £20. I have ordered from them in the past for higher amounts.

I was taken aback when told MY PAYMENT HAD NOT BEEN TAKEN! - due to a minimum £50 spend. I understand we are all struggling at the moment to sell but I would have thought given Christmas is on it's way and further bigger orders would have been placed with them, they may be a little more relaxed about it. Not to worry other suppliers are out there!
