Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

I've used the LE c&p for years, never had a reaction to it, love the way ut thoroughly cleans my skin. However ..... at £24.75 avg price for the 200ml, this is not something easily affordable any longer, nit in todays climate.

I like the method so searched around, found that Superdrug do their own hot cloth cleansers - at a fraction of this cost.Doesn't have as much 'scent' as LE but it cleanses well, skin feels great afterwards. And, unfortunately, when Liz Earle sold out to Avon, that did it for me.

After first use my skin start butningbit tooks me half an hour to cool my face down with compress of freezing cold water. Probably my skin went with allergic reaction with some of ingredients. So definitely not for all skin types. I will never use again :(

I cant say how amazing this is! I had really bad spots on my chin for almost a year and tried everything to help but nothing would work. My friend told me about liz earle and i have been using the clense and polish, toned and cream for over three weeks and my skin has cleared up great!!

Im 14, ive been using liz earle since i was 13. It truly is the best thing ever, go on their website and its so helpful! I wanted to know what products are best for teenage oily acne prone skin and you just look under their skin types section. I stopped using liz earle for a while because we ran out. My skin turned really bad but as soon as i put it back on within days it was calm again. Their customer service is out of this world. There are always free samples, and if you order enough they throw in a half size sample of the cleanse and polish AND the cloth for it. I reccomend every single one of their products without doubt. If this wasnt enough they also have a section which talks about acne and other skin problems, they dont just advise skin care - they advise you on what to eat and how to have healthy skin. They are brilliant, the best product ever. BRILL!

Since my days at University I have been using Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and well it never disappoints!

Not only do they as a company offer fantastic quality products but their service is brilliant and cannot be faulted in any way!.

The only thing I have is that it would be nice to have an offer of free delivery of over a certain amount, occasionally I spend over £100 with them and at that level I would expect to receive free delivery.

Apart from that Love them!

I bought this i february, along with the whole regime, however gve the toner away as it didnt suit me....my skin after using twice a day is noticable brighter pores tighter and feels lovely, also my neck and chest..it goes on creamy and emoliates well then removal with linen cloth so refreshing, I use the eye clenser and the moisturiser too, expense......lasts over a month 100ml....and it works for me, hope this helps...I would recommenddd yesssss. x

I really liked this product firstly it smelt amazing when applied to the skin also it removed make up easily not so much heavy eye make up but i use eye make remover first anyway. I also liked using the cloth and my skin was left really soft and have been receiving compliments since i start using these products only downside was pricey post and packaging to ire land.

Like the tittle suggests, this cleanser is not suitable for all skin types, as advertised by LE. Maybe it is for ultra resilient, dry to normal skin with no skin problems whatsoever. Or maybe for those who just love mixing eucalyptus and cocoa butter, putting on the skin twice a day, following with a HOT muslin cloth for better absorption and added beautifying effect.

Hint: What would you have liked to know before you made your purchase?

A clear indication by Liz Earle: "NOT SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN" would've been nice indeed.

It would be even nicer if this followed with "HIGH CONTENT OF COCOA BUTTER THAT IS RATED 4 OUT OF 5 AMONG MOST COMEDOGENIC SUBSTANCES, AND EUCALYPTUS OIL THAT IS SUSCEPTIBLE TO CAUSE SKIN IRRITATION WHEN DIRECTLY APPLIED ON THE SKIN".
