I Have Used The Piz Buin Tan Intensifier Sun Lotio
I have used the piz buin tan intensifier sun lotion spf 6, on 2 occations now. I did not realise befor the second time that it was this that made the rash come....
First time i used it befor tanning in a tanning studio, I thought it was eighter the bed not cleaned propperly or someting I ate, anyways i had a rash for 4 weeks after this, small red bumps that itch a Lot! On sunday I was enjoying the spring sun here in Norway and I thought the sun needed some help so I remembered the tan intensifier I had bought this winter... Big mistake... Startet itching a little that night, got worse yesterday and today its getting close to as bad as the last time I had it. I am dreading tomorrow...
Searched the web to see what was in this product to find out what I could be alergic to, and now I see I am not alone.
I would not recomend this product to anyone, and I definately think it should be removed from the marked, would be interesting to know exactly witch one everyne is getting the rash from? Is it the lotion only or also the spray?
Happy to ansver any questions.

I Have Not Suffered Any Problems With This Product
I have not suffered any problems with this product. I suffer with a lot of allergies and have to be very careful on what i use. The people saying about rashes i used to get these rashes on holiday and have put it down to sun cream is what i used to say when it happened to me but i now no this isnt the case it is an allergy u can get to uv rays its called hives its when your skin has become sensitive to the sun and you are supposed to slowly introduce your skin to sun bathing which then stops this happening which has worked on me

I Bought Pizbuin Back In June Before Heading To Fr
I bought pizbuin back in june before heading to france.i was 2 months pregnant at that stage. i used the tan intensifier spray and got this huge itchy rash a couple of days later: as there were a lot of kids around us, i thought about rubeola, which was ruled out by a pharmacist, who blamed it on a strong intake of strawberries which my pregnancy might have made me allergic to...ended up in A and E for a mild anaphylactic reaction the following night, which, once again, was blamed on possible new allergies due to the pregnancy thing. But I used pizbuin again a few days ago, and guess what? here's the rash again. so i read about the main ingredient in this, something called oxybenzone, which is very harmful to pregnant women according to all the health websites! didnt see that written anywhere on the box! so here's the thing: DONT USE THIS IF YOU ARE PREGNANT !!!! I'm worried sick for my baby now, and i defo dont want to go back to the hospital....

Pizbuin Belongs To Johnson And Johnson And Before
PizBuin belongs to Johnson and Johnson and before it even belonged to them, it was the top product in the market. It was the word in beaches everywhere back in the 70s and 80s.
I am sure that they do carry out necessary testing and the symptoms mentioned here do not apply to everyone.
I have used PizBuin for a few years now. 3-4 years ago I started using the 1-day one. A very nice product.
However, last year, I started using the PizBuin Tan Intensifier. Here's the weird thing, I got the first reaction on the plane back home. It lasted for 4 weeks, skin doctor could not diagnose it. And by the time I got to the skin doctor, the rash just about started to fade away, so was very glad to see the back of it 3-4 days later. And what a rash it was! I could not sleep well for the duration of those weeks, not at all in the last one! Could not go to work tired.
Anyway, I forgot about it altogether soon after that. That is until 4 nights ago, when I came for a beach holiday in a totally different country and settings. Here is me with my favorite tan intensifier! And you guessed it! This time it did not even wait until my holiday was in full swing, let alone over. I got the rash and bumps on the very first night. I was not recognisable in the mirror on the following morning. The local doctor could not diagnose it, blamed it on the sun. I could not take that for a probable cause. I contacted my skin doctor back on London and started my treatment with cortico-steroid cream, cooling gels and anti-allergenic pills. It is not getting better, so I am also getting an injection every other day from my local nurse, just before my eyes get fully shut from the swelling. I have checked my diet, I did not even get a chance to to eat anything, it happened so fast. And I am not a fussy eater.
Now the main issue is that I am not sure if I can go back to the sun, even if I use another cream.
And I am reluctant to stop my holiday short, and therefore affecting my family.
So currently, I am spending my holiday in the room, only going out late in the evening.
And all of this is most probably due to this product, PizBuin Tan Intensifier.
Happy to be contacted.
I bought this sun spray with melitan factor 15 for working in africa and after applying it for two days i started getting lots of little bumps/spots all over my chest, shoulders and around the face/ neck really bad at my eyes . stopped wearing this sun cream now. this has never happened to me before and was using tropical oil factor 2 before that. must be the cream. still waiting on it clearing up.

To The Reviewer Who Thinks That The Same Person Is
to the reviewer who thinks that the same person is writing the reviews stating that they have come out in a rash, i would like to say that this is not the case. i too used this product on a recent holiday to greece and i came out in a very itchy rash, which was very uncomfortable. who wants to be lying on a sunbed scratching constantly!! i have never suffered this with other sun protection products.i have had to state that i saw results overnight,it was definately no less, however this was not the case. it took much longer for me to see the results, more like several days. what would i say to someone considering buying this product? i would say, buyer beware !!!

I Do Not Know How So "many" People Got That Rash,
I do not know how so "many" people got that rash, but I used piz buin intensifier for 2 months constantly and my friends did and none of us got rash and today after reading those reviews(which I assume they are written by one same person, wondering why), I went to the biggest cosmetic shop, Hondos, here in Thessaloniki and asked about any customer getting rash or swelling or any side effect from using piz buin, they said they never heard of it and they said that it's selling better than the other tanning products. I can assure everyone, that it's not true that you'll have rashes or something, it's absurd, it's TAN INTENSIFIER it's not botox or something...
Hope I helped you guys, good luck on getting your tan done!

Having Used This Product On My Recent Holiday, For
Having used this product on my recent holiday, for the first time, I would strongly recommend that you do not buy it !Within a few hours I was covered in an itchy rash which covered all the areas where I had applied the tan intensifier. The rash did not go away. I bought cortisone cream from the chemist and it still didnt go. In the end I had to see a doctor.Three weeks later I still have some of the rash ! I would not have bought this product if I had read all these bad reviews .I am very cross that this product had similar reviews in 2009 where lots of people had the same reaction to the product as me.Why is this tanning product still being sold ??

I Used The Tan Intensifier Cream While On My Honey
I used the Tan Intensifier cream while on my Honeymoon in April, i have never used this product before i always use the Boots Saltan which i have never had problems with before EVER but thought i would be posh and stretch to the more expensive stuff. to my disgust i came out in this horrible red and lumpy rash all over also effecting my face which ballooned up and had to have injections twice a day to take the swelling down as well as anti-histimines and cream. The rash lasted the whole 2 weeks and settled down on my return to Jersey. I have had no Symptoms since untill last week when i came out in a rash again. I was sent to a dermatologist and he Diagnosed me with dermatitis and being a reaction to the piz burin cream, i have since come out in another rash which i still have, and reading some of the reviews symptoms that other people have had was exactly the same as me so i am now convincet it was this product. i was told my the doctor that the virus can still re-appear even 6 months later so please keep an eye out..
I found this review very helpful because...I totally agree with the reviewers reaction to the product.
