Excellent Service
I needed a present to take to Canada for my grandson, and wasn't sure it would be delivered in time. Ordered on Friday; paid for 48 hour delivery; arrived Saturday morning. One satisfied customer!

No Presents For Christmas!!!!
Presents ordered on the 11th December with extra payment for postage. 23rd December still no presents. No word from Bright Minds, no apology and no explanation as to why they have my money and haven't delivered. Several calls made and spoken to numerous rude employees who simply state they have no stock and can't send my goods. Now just before Christmas I am missing my gifts and no time left to re-buy. Lot's of thought went into buying these gifts. Will NEVER buy from this company again. Good luck to anyone who does!!

Failed To Deliver Goods.
Having paid for a costly next-day delivery, due to some glitch in the online shopping system, my delivery address reverted to my billing address. Bright Minds refused to assist me with changing the address. Following that, I received no phone call (as per my intructions), email, or calling card advising me that a delivery attempt was made, so that I could have collected the parcels from the depo. I have now been left without presents to bring to my goddaughter and her brother on one of my rare visits to them. I feel hugely let down and disappointed with this service, and will not be ordering from them again.

Tried to place the order twice, their system wasn't working properly so I sent an e-mail to ask what was happening. They called me back very quickly and took my details, e-mail order confirmation arrived November 29th. Everything seemed very pleasant and efficient.
I e-mailed 3 times on 9th December to ask if something had gone wrong as I hadn't received anything. Not so quick at replying this time!!!
I was forced to phone, after being on hold for nearly 10 minutes, the call was answered in a surly and unhelpful manner. I was told the items were on "back-order". I pointed out that everything was in stock when I ordered and was told well they aren't now. I asked for the order to be cancelled and requested e-mail confirmation of this. "Yep, you should get an e-mail, if you don't call us back"!!!! I pointed out that having already been on hold for 10 minutes I wanted assurance that this e-mail would be sent and had no desire to call them again. 4 hours later and no e-mail.
I will never use Bright Minds again and suggest that everyone steers clear of them to avoid disappointment

Fast Delivery, Lots Of Choice
A lovely range of educational but fun toys and games. Quite expensive but it was worth paying extra so I didn't have to go round the shops trying to find things. Staff on the phones were very helpful and friendly. My order had the wrong post code put on the parcel so courier struggled to find us and sent it back to warehouse. The phone staff at brightminds were quick to find out the problem and the parcel arrived the next day :)

Not Delivered In Time For Xmas, Refund Took Ages, Avoid.
I ordered some toys for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. Spent about £60.
Their website said NOTHING about them not being in stock so without thinking I said ok to £9.95 next day delivery. Expensive I know but I was going on holiday a few days later and didn't want the hassle of missing the postman.
I took the following day off work but no delivery. Needless to say I called them at about 5pm in a state but they said it was out of stock anyway!
They said it would arrive within 2 weeks and get to me in time for Christmas. Anyway, it never went back in stock and they never called to tell me that. I ended up just buying something else from Tesco.
I had to call them myself in January to ask for a refund. Even then it still took 3 weeks and a further call to get the refund.
How can companies like this stay in business???

Orders Not Fulfilled, No Communication
For the second year running somebody has kindly bought some vouchers for my children and we have been left astonished at the poor service given by this company. So far we have had to change our order twice because items that were in stock then ran out before ours was despatched. We understand these things happen, but we have only found out when we have called to see where the items are. One of the service reps was basically rude and offered no apology. So they have now had the money since early December, meanwhile the latest selection made by our six year old will not arrive until March. Perhaps this one will arrive, perhaps not. The only thing we can be certain of is that we will have to call them to find out. Like i said second year in a row, this is a poorly organised business with little regard for customer service. Don't even get me started on the fiasco of trying to actually use the vouchers last year, hard work on all fronts.
To follow up on my review above, we are now entering March and still no Christmas present. Another feature of this awful company is that their order and service line are charged at higher rates that fall outside of call packages. So I also now have a bill for several pounds because of my attempts to redeem my vouchers.

Orders Not Fullfilled;no Communication;disappointed Children
A relative from the US ordered toys for my children from this website back in Novemeber to make sure they arrived in time for christmas. When the order arrived a week or so later less than half the stuff ordered was delivered. We called and called and were told things would definintely be back in stock and delivered to us in good time for Christmas. With only 2 shopping days to go we call to find out why they still haven't been delivered to be told that they'd cancelled the rest of our order without telling us leaving us with little time to find alternative presents.
Very poor service. They are running a toy shop and should have more awareness of disappoinment caused by their lack of interest in their customers and the orders they'd placed.
I buy a lot of toys (perhaps too many!) on line and will never use this company again EVER.

My Son Was Very Disapointed To Open A Present On C
My son was very disapointed to open a present on christmas day that did not work. I left several phone messages to order a replacement and no one called me back. After finally getting through to someone I asked for a replacement part to be sent, when it arrived again it was broken.
The ideas they have are very unusual and educational, though not cheap. It is a shame that the customer service is so bad and that the quality is obviously very poor. This was the first time I ordered something from them, and will not be by from them again.
