Beware of their sales

I have previously purchased shirts from Hawes & Curtis. Their problem however is that they frequently hold 'sales' but then sell out of items and so are unable to fulfil the order. They will say that demand is such that it sells out, of course, but funny thing is a stock level is stated and decreases as the time goes by, other online shirt retailers like the far superior Claudio Luigi operate sales yet somehow manage to ensure stock exsits when they take your payment, totally unlike Hawes & Curtis. Of course they suggest you can order something else, but at full price. Its sharp practice, there is no other way of putting it. On the last occasion that this has happened they confirmed the order, yet again took payment, then a WEEK later said one shirt was out of stock, then a WEEK after that advised the whole order was out of stock and so the order was cancelled. Why don't they know immediately the order can't be fulfilled. The customer services are so poor. Their customer services gave plenty of rhetoric to start then simply refunded payment, after they had held the funds for sometime. I won't shop with Hawes & Curtis again as a result of the latest debacle, and I would warn anyone don't count on them fulfilling orders, and non existent customer service is also pretty much guaranteed. I like their shirts in fairness, and I have plenty of them that last well, but they've finally worn me down with their poor online ordering and unethical way of promoting themselves. If they know it is a problem, and others manage not to constantly disappoint their customers why don't they do anything about it rather than rely on the sorry its tough, unprecedented demand at sale time' 'multiple customers ordering at sametime but that is their stock answer as their only mitigation which just doesn't wash. I won't go back and warn others to be ready to be disappointed.

Stunning fits, Good and more collection, quality suits. As I ordered for my brother, he liked it. He said it was a perfect fit for him.

I have purchased a shirt for my brother and it is superb. He loved it very much. The quality of the shirt is excellent and worth the money. Delivery is too fast. The service is nice and helpful. Recommended. Will surely buy the shirt again.

Really bad customer service. The person I dealt with who claims to be as high as the CEO of the company has the audacity to justify that me not receiving my correct order is some how the customers fault!!!!

Extremely rude and arrogant. No one is willing to help or rectify the the problem.

After having a number of difficulties through out the order process and finally when I received the order they got it all wrong, somehow the person I dealt with (e-commerce “manager”) claims that there is nothing they can do and that I need to provide evidence .

Absolutely nonsense, I have been left out of pocket and left without any goods either.

If you really want to purchase from this brand, your better off going direct to store.

I made an order for multiple dress shirts nearly a week ago costing early $300 and now package has arrived in Canada but there now charging me an COD cost and wont send it to me, worst of all is they wont respond to my emails now I may never get my package.

They can not deliver the order for a whole month. I made an order 3 of march, today is 27 of march and I still waiting for my new shirts.

The worst online store!

If you don't want to have such a bad experience DON'T ORDER.

I bought 4 shirts in their deal. These shirts looks terrible even after ironing on high temperature or when damp as suggested. Even getting these dry cleaned with added starch doesn't keep the terrible creases appear after the shortest of wearing. Waste of money. I'm going back asap.
