Think twice if you are going to start an online course with Kaplan.

The online service is a shame. You have to be lucky to access when you want to do it because it is usually down or working too slow.

If you want to enrol for a course be prepared that you can't get any informations. I wrote several mails to the given addresses and no response at all, though it's urgent and important. I tried to chat with them online, I gave up after 15 minutes waiting without response. They sent me a mail that they are going to reply within 5 working days, but they didn't. I am afraid they don't have customer service at all... I gave one star because that's the minimum, but to be honest they deserve none.

This is the worst college i have ever been to...which took my money as a deposit and never returned even i moved to study some where else..the deposit was clearly refundable...the manager of the Acca full time course was only concerned about deposits and fees...nothing else...I will highly recommend BPP to any students who are planning to study ACCA...what a waste of money...KAPLAN NEVER AGAIN...

I enrolled on the Kaplan Financial Live Online Course last september. From the start it has been nothing but trouble.

Initially I was waiting until 2 weeks after the course had started to receive any of the study material even though I had enrolled a month before it was due to start!! I therefore had to catch up quickly when they finally arrived. I got fobbed off with the excuse that the admin department is undergoing changes so delays may occur.

My next shock is when I went to do my first exam and came across several questions that had not been covered in the lectures, the study material provided nor the online resources. I therefore had to basically guess an answer! Once again I was fobbed off with the excuse that the AAT may change the syllabus time to time. Surely they should then change the lectures and materials Accordingly?

This problem has arisen in several exams since then, with the latest actually containing more questions about areas not covered than those that had been.

Even though almost the whole class has complained once again they just act like they don't care and shift the blame back to the class for not using all the materials available. I however did you all materials and still had this problem.

Another problem is whilst some of the lecturers are very good, several don't seem to have a clue. They are not prepared for the lectures and are constantly correcting themselves.

I just feel annoyed that I signed up for the full course as now I am stuck with them and have no confidence in passing at all.

If you are looking to start this qualification although Kaplan are the cheapest I would definitely go elsewhere.

Very poor!

I enrolled onto a Kaplan AAT Foundation (Association of Accounting Technicians) home study course in Septmeber 2009. The material was quite good, but when i phoned for tutor support it was very difficult to speak with a tutor. They wanted me to email my problem, but i needed the answer straight away, if i was to progress with the material.

I hear that the tutor support with Premier Training is much better and their students have a much higher pass rate.
