Outstanding Setting - Highly Recommend

Outstanding setting with a long-standing, passionate and highly skilled team. Pavla, the nursery manager works across all areas and ensures the highest standards while also liaising with parents and carers to ensure all needs are met and updates delivered swiftly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery and the team behind it. My daughter started at 1yr and now is a walking, talking happy two year old who loves to play, learn, and socialise.

Not Bad, Some Lovely Staff

in terms of hygiene and cleanliness it could be so much better, not sure if the toys or surfaces are actually cleaned every day, and no trips or excursions after 1 years, not even to the park next door

first few months the turnover was high but it stopped and there are lovely ladies that really care about your kids

food variety could be better considering how much the price raised

Great Environment! Child Loves Attending

Initially my child went to the Bury branch and absolutely loved it. The staff were all so caring and clearly passionate about their jobs. They made my childs time there a happy one and she can still recall memories from the different rooms. A daily diary was provided to show meals and activities. They even offered toddler swimming lessons at the local leisure centre with qualified swim instrutors and their own mini bus. Having moved on to primary school, My child now attends both breakfast and afterschool club at the Greenmount Branch. Again, the staff cannot be faulted. Interaction is second to none, food options are of a good quality standard, activities and outdoor space are great.

I would recommend to any parent in the area.

Don't Even Clean/wipe The Child's Mouth After Meals

I'm sorry to say this but our 3 year old has been going to this nursery and when we go to pick him, we find food around his mouth and lips. This has happened 4 times in a row now. The staff should properly at least wipe/wash the children's mouth after meals but it seems they are being careless.

Also, our child is potty trained and tells when he needs to go for potty/pee but it seems that the staff is not always listening to him because we often find his trousers/pants dirty when he comes home. This never happens when he is at home as he always tells - it seems the staff at the nursery is sometimes not listening to him.

I am surprised at this review. We have a formal complaints procedure If parents have a complaint they are encouraged to take it up with the Nursery Manager.

We currently operate five day nurseries.

We would like to respond to your complaint and by doing so ensure that our high standards are adhered to.

Please identify which nursery you child is attending so that we can respond to your complaint appropriately.

Fantastic Childcare!!

I worry about my daughter all the time so moving my child to another nursery without me was the hardest thing I had to do. But on her second day there I knew it was the best thing I did for her. I couldn't get her home and nearly 2 years later I still struggle. She loves going every day. She talks about the staff, even the cook!! And she has made some really good friends. She is leaving this summer to start primary school so I just wanted to say a really big thank you for everything you have done for her with swimming lessons, trips etc. We are so happy and we are really going to miss you!!

Thank you x

I Trust Them With The Most Precious Baby In The World To Me!

We had a real struggle choosing a nursery as we didn't know anybody locally and we had heard plenty of bad things about other nurseries. Foundations for Learning was the only one that nobody had bad mouthed, but I hadn't heard any glowing reviews either, so hopefully this review will help any other parents that were in the same boat as us.

We had never left our little boy with any one else before, two of the nursery staff came to our house to meet him first so it wouldn't be a big shock for him. We get a diary every day with everything that's he's done/eaten and the staff always give us a run down of what he's been up to when we pick him up. He took a little while to settle but now he loves it there and recognises his little friends when we're out and about. The food is prepared to a dieticians menu on the premises and he eats all of it. When my older two went to nursery years ago, the nursery they went to seemed to only feed them jam sandwiches and crisps!
