Bausch and lomb Purevision toric

Having forced to switch from the Purevision to Purevison 2 because of a upgrade by my optometrist is the worse thing I have experianced. Dry, itchy, blurry. I am sorry I switched. I have worn the Purevision for 20 years no problem.

i ordered 6 months worth of contacts to get a better deal; big mistake. at first it felt uncomfortable but i thought that was because it just took some getting used to. i've worn these contacts for 4 months and they are still too uncomfortable. i've finally decided to switch to acuvue oaysis and its so much better.

the vision for these contacts are good enough, its just the comfort level that bothers me. i ALWAYS rub/rinse when i take them out, and leave them in disinfecting solution for at least 6 hours every night. and yet they only last me 2 weeks before they just become painful

I bought the Bausch and Lomb PureVision Toric lenses because they were described as being one of the most comfortable for people with astigmatism and because of the option of being able to wear them continuously for 30 days. However, they are probably one of the worst lenses for astigmatism I have worn in a long time. They feel scratchy and irritating in my eyes and they move every time I blink meaning my vision is almost always blurry.

I've been persevering with them now for 3 weeks but I think I'm going to have to give up on the 2 months worth I have left as my quality of vision is just not good enough to enable me to drive/work. I've given these lenses 2, rather than 1, out of 5 purely because when the lenses are stable (which is not very often) my vision is actually very crisp, it's just a shame that so rarely happens! I also tried wearing them over night and although I can't say my eyes feel worse for doing it, the lenses are so uncomfortable in the first place I probably wouldn't have noticed any difference. Never mind, back to my old lenses I think!

The vision in these lenses was pretty good but they kept rotating and I kept getting blurred vision. They felt sticky and gritty and were very aggravated by the air conditioning at work. Had to change them to Acuvue Oasys in the end as I couldnt wear them for more than 3 hours without having to use rewetting drops. Even with these drops, they made me eyes very red and sore. They are probably brilliant if your eyes are not sensitised by hayfever and/or air conditioning. Not a bad lens...just not right for me.

These lenses are SUPER! they give really clear vision and are very comfortable to wear i wear purevision torics they are the most stable torics you can buy. Check out other review sites for info on these lenses you will find a lot of very good reviews for these lenses unlike on here.

These are the best torics you can buy they give clear vision and hardly rotate (compared to other torics) and they are comfortable to wear with the added bonus they allow more oxygen to your eyes. I had a lot of problems finding toric lenses i have tried loads of different ones and found most of them unbearable the vision out of the others was usually blurry due to the lenses constantly rotating on my eyes these are by far the best i would highly recommend them. You can trial purevision torics for free at most opticians try them for yourself im so glad did, i don't need to wear my glasses anymore!

-Crisper vision that with other toric lenses I've tried (Focus Daily for astigmatism and Acuvue Advance for astigmatism), at least while the lens is focused

-Quite uncomfortable: eyes felt dry and stingy at the end of the day-lens moves a lot in the eye thereby blurring vision, I had to blink every couple of seconds to get the lenses to rotate to the proper position--not enjoyable

I did not sleep in these, although apparently, you can. I did not like them.

Don't buy these contacts if you have even moderate sensative eyes.
