Awful Customer Service

Every time I order lenses there are at minimum 6 or 7 broken ones.

I contacted customer service and they tried to blame me by saying "it's happened many times to you". Yes doesn't that tell you something. They asked for pictures. As if I got pictures, I threw them away as they were damaged.

The said they won't accept open box, even though I only used 2. They should accept , refund and apologise not try argue with me.

Instead of trying to accuse the customer of lying , apologise, accept the return and refund me. Other companies wouldn't behave like this.

You don't start arguing with the customer. The customer is always right. The guy who said it didn't put his name either, strange that is it ! I'll be reporting him to the CEO.

I so agree, my last 4 orders they have advised next day shipping and then to email me and advise they are waiting on stock! (This week I’ve not even had an email saying it’s delayed, I had to contact them online, and they can barely write comprehendible English) Then a week later the stock hasn’t arrived! They keep selling items that they don’t have in stock. Then they can’t send the order. You end up having to cancel, get a refund and reorder.

The last few years they have really gone down hill, both service wise and product stock. Why give a date and not be able to deliver on time. If it was a one off I could understand but this is the fourth time in 18 months. I order in bulk so they aren’t “small” orders or amounts of cash. I’m now looking at buying elsewhere.

Got a pair of lenses and eyeclear drops. Since then ordering lens all the time from vison direct. They provide best quality and timely delivery.

next day delivery NO, communication from them to advise out of stock NO until I chased delivery after a week, any further update from them NO, lenses still showing in stock online YES, reputable honest company NO, avoid them unless your happy never to receive what you order

Zero Stars - Cheap For A Reason - Avoid

Customer service changes customer details, lens prices and cancels orders created on the VisionDirect platform at will, to the point where I had to specifically tell them NOT to do so - NOT to remove items from my basket or change my username without my permission (!) etc. I'm not sure what the thought process of the customer service team is exactly but it definitely isn't one that 'puts the customer first'. Out of the many contact lens suppliers (feelgoodcontacts, pinkyparadise, nextdaylenses etc) or even general online retailers, this has been, by far, THE WORST.

To get one pair of contact lenses from VisionDirect: More than of 10+ times contacting customer service on chat, where they will then tell you to call in. If customer service feels like it, they will tell you to email - so passing you from chat to phone to email. Get the distinct feeling this is a company that gathers as many of its customers details as it can without consent in order to sell the information on to third parties. It's '1/2 cheaper' than stores on the high street but even with lenses at half price their more expensive competitors are still in business which is makes us all very lucky as consumers. Thank goodness VisionDirect isn't the only contact lens store available as I'm not going to be purchasing from them again. It is half the price FOR A REASON - AVOID!!!

No Communication

Usually next day delivery, not this time. Some items out of stock but they never communicated or updated me with when they would arrive, or even sent part of the order. I had to call after a week and they said they were shipping it that day. Didn't arrive so rang again. They then said it would be the following week. In the meantime I ran out of lenses. Discovered lensstore.com which was brilliant and I cancelled Vision Direct. What a shambles.

This Company Is Brilliant!

To start with they have contacts in my prescription, they came within a week, the contacts themselves are really soft and comfortable and the company doesn't try to fleece you with the price. The packaging is fantastic and as high quality as the contacts and came with a 'thank you for your business' token that really made me smile and think that this is a company I want to give my money to versus the rude lack of customer care you receive in shops these days.

Thank you vision direct, I'll be back.

Service Is Terrible

I ordered my lenses and it took over 7 days for delivery when the lenses came i went through them like water. ( ripped, didnt Fit my eyes).

I contacted customer service they told me in order for a Credit i had to send the lenses BACK... i fought with them for over a week before i recieved my credit...

ordered another back now over a week later i am still waiting on the Lenses,and all they can tell me is it is out of their control...

Mind you, never once did they reach out to me to tell me there was delay..

Perfect Every Time.

This is my second order with Vision Direct (previously GetLenses), and i don't have a single complaint with them. Super easy to order, lots of variety to choose from, and my lenses arrived well packaged the day after I ordered them. Can't beat their prices either. I rarely leave reviews, but when i get great service on something as vital as my vision (I'm blind as a bat without my lenses), I'm very willing to do so. Thanks VD/GL for making something that used to be a hassle incredibly easy!

Very Quick Delivery, Good Value

First time I've ordered from these and I am gojng to all the time now! Not only did I get free next day delivery but I got three solutions for a very cheap price and they also gave me a bag of haribo! Fantastic , would highly recommend them!

Good Service, No Discounts Though

Been using Getlenses for nearly 6 years now, not had one £5, £10 or even £15 off any order, they only really give you £5 off when you recommend someone, which I think is pretty poor, but I suppose the cost of the lenses compared to optician prices is night and day, delivery time is fantastic too. :)

Do they still ship to the United States?

I have just spoken to them and they have a temporary clitch in their ordering system. Their IT team are looking into this and they hope to have this resolved within a week or so. I did suggest that they have a banner advising this on the internet. They also advised me that if you email them they will contact you as soon as the problem is resolved. Hope that this helps as I spoke direct to their customer service team who were very helpful.
