Omron Digital Automatic - M7

Being a fan of gadgets, I bought an Omron M7 blood pressure reader a few years back just to check out blood pressure.

I've found it pretty handy whilst my wife was pregnant (always good to keep an eye on blood pressure to avoid things like Pre-eclampsia).

The M7 is very quick to take a reading, is very comfortable to wear when you're having a reading done and is pretty easy to set up and run (you basically just press one button).

I can't really vouch for its accuracy, although it does seem to give pretty consistent readings with the kit that the midwives use during my wife's pregnancy so from that I think it's pretty accurate.

Its not cheap - I guess that's my only gripe - I think I paid around £90 for it a few years back. That said, if you shop around I've seen it online for as low as £55 recently - at that price its a great piece of kit Id say.

Overall, if you're looking to monitor your blood pressure for any reason then Id say this is a real contender for you.
