Jungle Formula Insect Repellent Spray

Took us ages to work out how to put it together no instructions and what little information there is is written in the tiniest writing so you need a magnifying glass to read it. No idea if it works though want to throw it across a field. Also stinks. What do i like about it er nothing!!

Brand new G-Shock watch 24 hrs old. Sprayed this maximum formula on my arm and it reached the side of my watch. Had a chemical reaction with the silicone/rubber and it’s irreversible. Contacted the company regarding this and they fobbed me off telling me it’s not compatible with plastics and synthetics yet it doesn’t state rubber or silicone or even synthetics on the label. Avoid this at all cost as the company are vile - I asked for reimbursement and they have sent me lies about their labelling as you can see on the photos attached nowhere does it state rubber/silicone . All I am asking for is the cost of the watch as a replacement and they are not interested. Disgusting company to deal with. Never again will I use or recommend this brand

Used Jungle Formula Maximum and it ruined 2 pairs of shoes and took off nail polish. Ended up buying 'off' which was a lot cheaper and never got any bites at all. Big NO to Jungle Formula

No bites at all with this, yippee. However it is very strong and skin may be sensitive to it. Smells terrible and leaves an oily deposit that brings colour off leather and even brings your nail polish off! I much prefer the lotion which has a better smell and you can rub it in properly. I think mozzies still land and start to bite, but then move on, so you sometimes get little starter bites.

Both my husband and I used it only once in the Far East. Within an hour of applying it we were covered in a very itchy red rash and small blisters. Cold water wipes helped but we suffered discomfort all day. Will never use it again.

Brought this to protect myself from bites on holiday used as directed but from the first day I was covered in bites and bitten every day and night so was a waste of time never would I buy this again just did not do what it claimed on the box also had the plug in which also didn't keep the mosquito or kill them.

An effective product to be used outdoors. I spray over my trousers while going out. However, you must check out the DEET% mentioned on the pack as more concentration can be hazardous too. Keep away from children. You can also spray it in the car.

I travel to Central Africa regularly for my job (DR Congo, Sudan) - and I never travel without Jungle Formula maximum strength. You need it there because if you get bitten you risk getting Malaria. In 5 years of travelling I never got a single bite.

I can not give it 5 stars though, simply because its odour is really awful and it seems to dry your skin a bit. But it's not damaging or longterm; it's just not your usual beauty product. It's a chemical anti-mosquito weapon for your skin. When I return home from travelling, I usually treat my skin with lots of lotion and it's all back to normal.

A bad product. I covered myself in the spray and had the plug-in; I was covered in bites!

What nasty stuff this is, I used it in Spain & still have a scar where the rash was. I had to go to the doctor & it ruined my holiday. I will never use any Deet product again.
