Makes Me Extremely Gassy, Cheapest I Could Find
I have been taking creatine for years on and off as you should. This one is cheap as chips and will last you through a full 3-month cycle for £12 on amazon.co.uk with free super saver delivery.
You get 350 x 1,000 mg pressed tablets for this price, which is far cheaper than anything else online or on the high street.
The content will easily last you through the "loading" phase of 7 days x 10 tablets (i.e. 70 total) and the following 90 days x 2 tablets per day "maintenance phase" (i.e. 180 + 70 = 250 total you need for the three months). In fact, you can take 50% more, i.e. 3g x 1000g / day during the maintenance phase and still have some left over.
Creatine has always made me slightly gassy and I only recently understood why: because you will generally be lacking water as your gut is trying to absorb it. So you need to drink as much water as you can all the time, whilst you are on it ot make sure you can absorb it. This is healthy anyway and augments the creatine effect, which is to flush water into your muscle making it bigger and stronger.
Now, no matter how much I drank - I must have been on 3.5 liters+ per day I was still massively gassy.. and also unpleasantly gassy.. so although it is cheap I have stopped taking it on that basis!
I would normally not recommend it, but I think everyone reacts slightly differently to these things. It is still very cheap creitone, which does what it says on the box, it just has an unpleasant side-effect so do try it out. Make sure you drink loads - do your own research - and if it works for you you have saved yourself a few quid.
