Does Not Honour Return Policy
The people at CameraWorld have decided that not going through the trouble of dealing with returns and refunds is worth the potential loss of future business. Even though they state on their website that they offer a 14 day return period, they simply ignore return requests. It would be one thing if they responded and perhaps gave you a reason as to why they won't accept a specific return, but instead they simply ignore your emails. And when I called, they guy I spoke to asked a couple of random questions while literally pretending to type something on a keyboard. Rather embarrassing.

Having bought a panasonic tz80 digital camera on-line the new camera was delivered to me the next day brilliant service which is rarely seen today i would highly recommend your london shop for great service.As i live up in Scotland given the distance away it makes the service great. cant fault it.

Was promised this will be shipped after 2 days. After 2 days i had to call to check whats happening with my order and was told they still don't have stock. No apology, no solution offered - i simply have to wait. Not mentioning that the guy who picked the phone did sound like he doesn’t care at all.
- other pathetic thing is that they charged me for next day delivery ! They charge delivery fee for 2000£ order.
Huge disappointment. First and last time Cameraworld.

They Are Selling Products They Know For A Fact Are
They are selling products they know for a fact are out of stock. They will take your money and then send you an email stating the product is out of stock. But still to this day you can purchase the product on their website. The item was over £1000 and I’m still waiting for a refund. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. Thinking about reporting them to ombudsman.

Purchased used manual lens from online store, it was in better condtion than described and had been well cleaned. Item was well packaged and received in good time they used DPD.

I spent hours researching my next camera (settled on the Sony DSC-HX90V), followed by further eye strain research for best price. Camera World was definitely the best deal. Although their price matched a few other main retailers, Camera World came up top because their price of £299.00 included an official leather Sony case worth over £35 and a 16GM Memory Card (guessing around £20). I was concerned it may be too good to be true, but the 'kit' arrived just a day or two later and all as promised. Delighted with goods (although not tested out until Santa delivers it to me on Christmas Day!) Friendly customer service from a gentleman named 'Gaz'. Cheers.

Bought a used "as new" lens from Cameraworld at a price only little higher than ebay auctions, but with a 6-month shop warranty. The free delivery was outstandingly fast and trackable right to my door. 100% satisfied, and I don't normally say that!Will certainly use again.
Totally Ignored
Having found and read through their web site blah, I filled in the enquiry form for some equipment,around £2k worth. No reply after 4 days despite emailing them to request a reply. Several days later, still no reply. Do these people never read reviews? Waste of time and space. Avoid.

Bought a very expensive camera. Assistant had a blank vacant stare, not knowledgeable at all about this particular Camera or seemingly anything at all !! Seemed very reluctant to talk, almost if I was interrupting something. Very very off putting . Nevertheless I purchased and three days later sent it to repair centre under warranty. Decided to deal direct with Camera manufacturer instead of Camera World.
Never again will I deal with these people.
