Sold me a c stand that was damaged and said that I needed to pay for the return postage myself. Couldn't be more appalled with my experience.

Very Disappointing - Not Receved My Camera After A 9 Months

I don’t think I should still be without the camera why should I be waiting for DHL to accept the liability, as the problem is between Jessops and DHL and not me, I should have the camera I have paid for or my money returned or a credit

It’s disappointing that I will not be taking my new camera with me again.

It’s been so long to get sorted, I see the R6 mark 2 has now been released and I have not even used the original model.

I expect a refund or to be collecting a replacement camera before I leave for my 60 day cruise in January 2023.

I would like to collect from Shrewsbury, as my closest Jessops store. As no Lichfield or Birmingham that were my local stores.

I do not feel that I am being unreadable . However I have not had any camera or refund

Paid For An Item, Didn't Get It, But They Won't Refund...

I ordered my item a week ago (Wednesday) which cost over £400 and was expecting next day delivery. DPD failed to deliver the first two times (drive said shop for delivery was closed, yet its a 6am-11pm CO-OP. I phoned DPD Saturday who said they would deliver that day, nothing, I phoned again the next day, same response, same nothing. By Monday I check the tracking to find the item is on its way back to Jessops.

I phoned Jessops Monday because from what I can see I've paid for an item which they have failed to deliver, so naturally I'd like my money back. Jessops are refusing to refund as the package is still "out for delivery" despite acknowledging the item is on the way back to them.

Tuesday late afternoon the package is still " on its way back to Jessops" so I phone again. Jessops are still refusing to begin a refund. I've paid for an item, Jessops have failed to get it to me, yet for some stupid procedural reason they won't refund me until the item gets back to them. Even then they say the refund could take up 5 working days.

The long and short of it is...

I paid £400+ for an item, Jessops failed to deliver, I will now be without the £400 needed to purchase the item else where. Did I mention I needed it last Thursday.

Unable To Fast Track Orders

Unable to fast track orders, unable to collect the order from the depot. If you're in a rush I'd suggest shopping elsewhere.

Dreadful

I ordered an (in stock) item from Jessops some 10 days ago as I thought I'd support a traditional high street retailer rather than Amazon, but now realise it was a dreadful mistake. My card has been charged, but nothing delivered, there is no information using the order checker on their website, their phone number is permanently closed, their live chat deactivated and they don't answer emails, so are completely unreachable. I now have no choice but to go to my cc company, trading standards and ultimately the police. :-(

No Communication

I placed an order online on Friday and received a confirmation email shortly after. All was good until Sunday morning when I received an email from Jessops CS informing me that there was a problem with my order because they couldn't obtain the funds for the item and I needed to contact my card issuer to sort it out and then call them back to confirm it had been sorted. I contacted my bank an they confirmed that the payment had been taken and was pending approval by the credit company Klarna so I contacted Klarna and they told me that they were waiting for Jessops to confirm the order !!!! I tried calling Jessops CS on the number given but it would not connect. I emailed them but received no reply so attempted to contact them via the online chat. When I did eventually get a reply on the chat I was told that the email was sent in error and that my order would now be processed. I asked if they could send an email confirming that there'd been a mistake and that my order was now being processed........no email arrived. I contacted them again on email, nor reply, sent them a DM on Twitter...no reply and sent two messages on Facebook messenger to which I've had no reply. I can't see Jessops being around much longer with customer service like this

Flimsy Neck Strap Which Doesn't Fit Binoculars.

Ordered Jessops Compaxt Binoculars for an upcoming holiday and was impressed when they were delivered within 24 hours.

The neckstrap supplied is completely useless and is very flimsy. The metal fixing is too big to fit into the spaces on the binoulars.

I emailed customer service and got an outa reply saying they would get back with 48 hours.

In the absence of a reply I twice tried online chat who could only pass messages to Customer Services asking them to reply!!!

Finally, after 15 days, I got a reply stating they do not supply accesories!! Surely they should provide a suitable neckstrap in the first place.

Am surprised and disappointed that a company Peter Jones is associated with has such poor standards.

Having purchased the majority of my Nikon equipment from Jessops I was extremely disappointed with the trade in price they offered on a recent purchase, with a miserly 20% offered on the original cost of a excellent conditioned lens -really feel like I've had my pocket picked. Will shop elsewhere in future

Diabolical Customer Service

I purchased a camera from jessops. The courier company lost it, not jessops fault I know but jessops customer service was absolutely diabolical. They promised to call me back, they didn't. They rarely responded to my emails. They took three weeks to refund my money and the whole experience was extremely stressful. I would not recommend this company at all.

Wasted Time After Three Visits, They Keep Everything Online.

I attempted to buy a camera from my local Jessops on three occasions. The first time the store was closed with no notice (I checked opening times online beforehand to make sure). Second time around it was opened, but I had to wait over 5 minutes to find an available staff member to be told that Jessops stock absolutely no camcorders in store and that I should try online instead. Not wanting to wait around for days by ordering a camcorder online I figured I'd buy one of the compact cameras I saw in store to use for video instead. Third day I go in to buy the compact camera I want and guess what...it's only a display model I have to order it online. After that I decided to buy the camera on Amazon instead.
