I have never used one of these self service booths and I will never use another again.

I followed all the instructions and had to scan a QR code to start the process. A £1 was requested and I then paid for my photos. The next day several payments where taken and my account on Good Friday has been frozen due to fraudulent activity.

I noticed customer services at M Spielmann and I have a very poorly worded and grammatical flawed email telling me it was nothing to do with them and for me to be more careful in the future.

They should safeguard there customers better and if they know its easy to be hacked they need to advise or update there systems to make them safer.

Never will use these booths again huge sham!!!

I went in castlegate shopping centre branch in stockton on Tees. Tegan was working and she was very helpful and polite. She went out of her way to help me and show me how to use there machine. I think she as a excellent customer service experience. She is very welcome in to the shop

Not good customer service still waiting for an expensive Christmas present. Won’t ever shop here again. The staff just don’t care.

Went in Oldham branch today for my one year old girl photo shoot. The lady was lovely she made her calm down and managed to take some nice pics. We chose a picture which looked very nice and we asked her to print 16 by 20. After half an hour when we came back to collect the picture, it was the poorest quality picture. Complete waste of money as they charged me so much for just one picture. Will never use them again. Really disappointed with the quality.

Fantastic service and very quick. Will order again.I ordered online specifically large photos and they arrived in great condition and great color. Now framed and pleased with results.

My son and I went to take some pictures for our Spanish passport (the photo size is almost the same for UK passport) ... When I went to pay I was completely shocked, the cost was £30 ... The staff said it was £15 each, only 4 photos and I had to crop them! I can't believe it!... Definitely I won't come back.

Really bad experience at Crystal Peaks Shopping Center in Sheffield.

Went in for some photos for Chinese visas for me and my wife. The shop does not have a white background...can you believe it??? The girl said they used to have one but they got rid of it!! One of the various requirements for passport and visa photos is a white background... in the words of Victor Meldrew, "I don't believe it". So, don't waste your time....

I have visited shop in Lancaster with my husband and son for a photo shoot session. I wasn't impressed with the service received. The lady was very nice but she had no idea what to do. Firstly the flash on a camera didn't work, it only flashed every fifth picture taken, she spent ages trying to fix it, she even managed to drop it on the floor, then when we chose the pictures we have been told to come back after 15 minutes, we came back 30 minutes later, only to be told to come back later. After confusion with payment ( gift voucher plus cash) we finaly got our pictures. Only when I got to the car I have noticed that on one picture half of my head was cut off?! Other picture has been cut so low down that when I want to frame it I would be only able to see my sons head without neck, most of the pictures are cut randomly, not even. I don't want to waste my time to go back and ask for the pictures to be reprinted. I'm not happy with the service and will definitely not come back. That was meant to be professional family photo shoot but to be honest I would probably take better pictures myself and later print at home

Don't normally complain but when your passport photo is wrong and you paid for a professional service it is stressful.

They said it was fine but I did question how it looked and they said it was guaranteed so I thought they must know.

Sent off and guess what, failed so took the passport office advice to resolve quickly and got a mate to take a photo of me on his iPhone and used the website to reapply and it passed.

Poor service for top bucks beware if you need your passport quickly better getting a fiend to take it and use website

Went into the Macclesfield shop with my wife for passport photos. I realise that few are ecstatic about their own passport photo but they were done so quickly and my wife was very unhappy with the outcome.

The assistant just said that no one is happy with them and left it at that. Surely it would be better, especially with ladies, to take more than one and offer a choice especially when charging £10 for the service which seems a lot for a quick one snap digital photo.

Booked an appointment with a proper photographer who will take a bit more time and care using lighting etc and charge only £5 more.
