The Worst Establishment I Have Ever Used.

One thing is true about Ark, their clothes look good. However, I will never be using them again. They should really and truly be shut down. The disorganisation that runs through the organisation cannot be improved. It can only probably get worse. I ordered 3 items from this stupid place. I had no problem with shipping time. I had a problem with the state I recieved the only single item I received. I got an email saying my order has partially been dispatched because they were out of stock on one of the times. They failed to even tell me which one they did not have in stock and failed to give me the option of cancelling the order at this point. I didn't bloody want a half baked order. I emailed to ask which order was not in stock because naturally I liked some items more than others. No reply. Receive the order about 4 days later with just a pair of shorts. Bear in mind the shorts was part of a co-ord set. What am I meant to do with just the shorts?? Now they are telling me idiotic things. I think we should all boycott Ark, they must go out of business. Might aswell pay the little extra and use more reputable companies. Now waiting for my refund and have nothing to wear for my friends 21rt. Sow awkward because I had already showed all my friends my bargain + cute pieces that never surfaced. Thanks for embarrassing me Ark. I truly hate you..

Dont Ever Order From Ark!!!! Unless You Want To Re

DONT EVER ORDER FROM ARK!!!! UNLESS YOU WANT TO RECEIVE NOTHING AND GET NO REFUND!!! I ordered 3 super cute shirts from there- including the hand one you showed- AND WAITED 4 WEEKS with only a dispatch email BUT NEVER A SHIPPED EMAIL. I called customer service 17 times, always getting put on hold for countless hours!!! I emailed their customer service and continuously got emails saying "ERROR YOUR EMAIL WILL BE DELAYED FOR 2 DAYS, THIS IS A COMPUTER GENERATED OUT PUT, NO NEED FOR REPLY...." I live in the US, and in their policies they DO ship to the US, and I really wish they wouldn't have done this to me, because I wanted those shirts. I've never been so disappointed with a company before. Beware of this awfulness. I spent 117.06 on those shirts+shipped and got NOTHING!!!

What Happened To Good Service ????

Iv used ark quit abit but what has happened ???? I orded a cost ( for a birthday present) rang ark 3 days after I orded to say iv had no email saying when my order would arrive guy I spoke to told me to ring back Monday I rang back Monday to be told its out of stock no email to tell me or call ( iv had calls from ark before because something is out of stock or in a different colour) so I reorder another coat at this point ark are holding double my money I wait again no cost had to ring up to be told again that's its out of stock at this point am very upset I then waited 7 days still no refund rang up again to be told by some snippy girl there systems are down so I will have to wait another 7 days after nearly three weeks and loads of phone calls and emails I finally get my money back one had remembered to put my refund through if I hadent have rang up I would still be waiting I won't ordrr from ark agin shame as I really used to like there clothes.

Non Delivery - Bad Reputation For A Reason!!!

Order a few items online within plenty of time for a nominated day Saturday Delivery.

Received order confirmation.

Saturday comes.... surprise surprise.... no delivery.

3 emails sent to customer services over the next couple of days.... not a single reply.

Still no delivery....

Phone customer service number which is basically the number for their Manchester Arndale store. After 15 minutes on hold, connected to a young lady who takes my order details, confirms my identity (showing she had my details on screen) and asks to put me on hold while she enquires about it. On hold for a further 15 minutes before being cut off by them without any further reply.

So, try to ring straight back... hmmm... "cannot connect your call"

Not engaged as it goes through to the switchboard but they are just rejecting the calls. After 5 minutes repeated trying manage to get through, put on hold by automated switchboard for 15 minutes. Finally, answered by an older woman who immediately sounds like she just cannot be bothered, takes my order number and gives me an excuse that she cannot get my details back. She then asks "Is your order with Ark?". Well of course it's with Ark otherwise why on earth would I be calling you on the Ark Customer Servive number?

The fobbed off by her that she would have to get someone from 'Ark' to call me back. Who was she then? The cleaning lady? or a customer who just happend to pick up the phone in their Manchester Arndale Store?.

Time Passes...... No callback from anyone.

Customer Service??? Worst i've experienced.

They take your money, but take away your piece of mind at the same time.

Seriously, think twice before ordering with these ammateurs.

1 star is too much for them but unfortunately it doens't go any lower without having any impact on their overall score.

And a note to the person before you add your 'cut & paste' templated reply to my review.... Don't bother, if you can't get it right first time. You guys are only bothered when your reputation is displayed in public. This time you have no chance to 'do the right thing' as the 'right thing' would have been to deliver my order as promised and subsequently for your customer service team to give a ounce of interest all my prior and previous attempts at correspondance.

You can now await a call from Manchester Trading Standards, and the chargeback from your bank in persuit of a refund for your failures.

Order Not Delivered. No Response From Ark

Recently placed an order with Ark clothing. The order has not been delivered. I sent 2 emails to Ark but no reply. Tried to call them several times but nobody seems to be available to pick up the phone. Not impressed. Will I get my money back??

Prices Are Great, Could Improve On Returns System

I have never had a problem with ark before, but yesterday I returned an item and was shocked that they dont do cash refunds. If I had knew before hand the I would happily have thought twice about the purchase. Apart from that, they are very low on the prices and beat all other leading shops and outlets on brands etc. Their service is adequate, i have experienced on one occasion, no response to a message on fb however did get all info I needed about a product in store. Ultimately they offer good quality products at excellent prices, especially for students however the returns policy needs to be changed and service online nedds to be better when dealing with consumers queries. Please do something about it.

Excellent Online Service

Ordered late on Boxing Day evening (Wednesday) and my order was delivered Saturday. I was worried after reading the mixed customer reviews but liked the clothing so took a risk. I emailed ARK Friday afternoon explaining that I needed delivery by Wednesday as my order was a birthday present. I had an immediate response and ARK sent my parcel "Special Delivery" at no extra cost. Outstanding customer service. I will certainly shop here in the future.

The clothing is good quality and exactly as described on the website. I was worried about the sizing but the description and measurements on the website were accurate.

Staff Lie..no Refund

I brought a dress from ark on Saturday. I took it home and found one of some sequins were loose. i took it back on the following Tuesday for a refund (as i did not feel the quality matched the price) with the tags still on and a valid receipt (2 days old) Staff first questioned me if i had worn it to cause them to fall off!! obviously it was tried on, the tags were still intact and was only 2 days old (if it had been worn a day i would not expect the dress to fall apart after one day).

Staff would only offer me a exchange or a credit note. as it was a small store i did not want anything i wanted. they told me this was not possible and gave me a credit note and kept my sale receipt and told me i could use it online which when i tried was not possible. when i went online i found i could have had a refund over the Christmas period.....not happy!!!

Great Online Service

I have started to order more goods online this year. My daughters love Ark clothing and I have ordered numerous items from them. The clothing arrives very quickly and well packaged. I cannot fault this company and was very surprised to see negative comments about them. I guess people are more inclined to write negative comments when things go wrong. Of all the high street stores I have ordered from, I would say this company was probably the best so far.

because of the many negativ reviews i read here (after having placed my order..) I got a little nervous. BUT everything went fine just as expected. I ordered a jacket on friday night and it arrived on my doorstep IN GERMANY on wednesday! Also i mailed the customer service on monday and got back a reply in approx. 30 min! so if there was something wrong with ark it was clearly temporary and now its a great fashion dealer with great services and great prices (thank you ark for the -20% discount code ;) )

also, dont trust the fedex tracking service (at least for international orders) on the day of arrival it still told me the package has to be picked up or send to fedex by the retailer....
