Although I really like the look of the clothes the quality for the price you pay is awful, I've bought three dresses over the last year all of which started threading/ripped after one wear

Returns to this company are hard work!! Twice I have ordered off the website and had to return an item and its taken months to get a refund, in fact I'm still waiting for the last one. It involves lots of emails you get passed around to diffent people, and when I did eventuall get refunded it was £7.50 short but I'd lost the will to live at that point and settled for what they had given me. Also on one of the orders a dress was out of stock they didnt tell me it was out of stock, just sent my order with an item missing and had charged me for it. Had to wait 4 weeks to get my money back on the missing item. Its such a shame because I love their clothes but I wont be buying from them again its not worth the hastle. :(

I loved Joy. Mainly because whenever I went in there and bought something I kept it.

I bought a £40 top the other day, didn't like it, took it back and was told that store credit was all they gave. Then they handed me - after asking my name, surname, post code, house number, email address and reason - a til receipt that was my 'credit' note.

I don't know about anyone else, but if I find receipt like things in my purse, I normally get rid of them.

This policy of store credit or exchange is just Joy covering their bottom line. by not have to give any money back for anything, their bottom line is safe.

THIS IS THE ONLY REASON

In this day and age it is totally unacceptable and I am definietly not going to think twice before going there again - with my 'store credit receipt' and will be warning all my friends about this suspect poilcy too.

Terrible customer service. Did not even bother to respond to two complaint emails. AVOID

ORDERED IN APRIL AND STILL WAITING FOR REFUND THEY PROMISED IN JUNE - A COMPLETE SHAM AND TRADING STANDARDS SHOULD RPOERT THEM

I have been waiting for a refund for months - they constantly say it takes time to process - utterly ridiculous.

They guaranteed that the dress (which was terrible when it arrived) would be delivered in time for a specific event and it wasn't.

Returned 2 items. Both dresses were lovely but just not suitable in style. I wa sure that I would keep them and with the return being a parcel away i thought what the hell!!!! My oder return cost me £28 ( thats never to be seen again) But the dress refund has not even been refunded. I spent over £168 and the same of this company. They tell me they have not recieved the dresses yet. It's been 4 weeks. They are going to keep my well earned money I just can't believe it. This is crimminal and I would never recommend this company. It's out rages that they can keep my money and have my dresses too……..

I placed an order with Joydress back in April for a dress for my upcoming Vow Renewal. I waited and waited and waited. Chased order, told numerous times "thankyou for being so understanding, we need more time to make your dress, We will chase the factory" . I waited until the end of June before finally getting contacting them to cancel the order and requested a full refund. 3 weeks later after being promised I would have a refund, I'm still waiting. I now know that I won't EVER see that money again. I so wish I'd done a review search on JOYDRESS and found this page. I wouldn't ever have placed the order.

It always goes on beyond the paypal 45 day cut off too so no chance of getting anything back that way. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to trade !!

I have had to give one star but wanted to give minus 19.This company should be renamed disapoint4dress. I ordered my daughters prom dress in March which gave them plenty of time as her from was end of June. Oh no my daughter did not go to her prom as the dress dress did not arrive and we could not afford another one. I emailed them several times in which every answer was please be patient give us more time. I have kept all of the emails ad I intend to seek legal action. Even Today 7/7/13 I gave emailed them and they have said they will hasten my order ( prom was two week ago ). After ordering I have spoken to others who have had similar experiences please think before ordering from these. At the minute I am waiting for a full refund. We shall see. !!!!

Please be careful from buying from joydress. They hardly speak any English and hardly ever respond to your e-mail. Its been 2 months and half that we have not received our dresses and we cant do anything about it. We spent about $900 for the dresses. Paypal told us that they can't do anything about it because its been over 45 days. So basically we just lost our money, dresses just days before my brothers wedding.

So be careful and don't even think about buying anything from these guys.
