M&s Outlets. Rubbish - Product And Customer Service

I bought some white trainer quarter socks. First wash the colour from the highlights turned them all blue. Phoning M&S I dicover M&S Outlets are nothing to do with M&S, they are a franchise. They won't accept any responsibility for the poor products. How to ruin a brand. This is what poor management does. I won't be shopping at either again.

Great Staff

Hi I know not suppose to enter staff names but I wish to thank personally the staff at urban exchange ancoats who are the nicest and friendliest bunch of people I have seen in a store in particular the man and woman who regularly serve me nothing is to much trouble and. Help me carry my shopping to the car. They are a credit to Ur storeThere is  another person  who always has a smile . Young people like them make the whole shopping experience very pleasant. Well done staff at urban exchange

Marks & Spencer Have Zero Customer Satisfaction

I sent a complaint to M&S about their connection with the terrible M&S outlet THEY IGNORED MY COMPLAINT (sent 2 months ago) My opinion of M&S is zero customer care. AVOID M&S OUTLET AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst Online Shopping Experience Ever

I made 2 separate orders from the online M&S Outlet and they were delivered very promptly. In fact one was delivered by Yodel the next day. One order was for a mans suit. Unfortunately, not only did they send it in the wrong fitting (sent Super Slim instead of just Slim) but sent a version with a herringbone stripe not the plain suit in their photo. The other order of trousers was also sent in the wrong fitting (straight instead of slim), I phoned them up and asked if I could send both orders back together and they agreed and said they would refund my postage costs in 2-3 weeks. I posted back at a cost of £9.10 and 4 days later got 2 e mails saying they were going to refund me for the trouser order minus postage both ways, and for the suit order they had issued a refund for just the trousers NOT the jacket and again no postage refund. I e mailed them and they replied saying they would refund the cost of the jacket and the postage cost to return items but they still have not agreed to refund the 2 x £3.50 they charged me to deliver the orders. I can see this going on forever. The distance selling regs require that postage costs you pay the seller must be refunded if you return within 7 days (I returned the same a I received). Cant believe M&S are not complying with this regulation. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND COULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.

Staff Behaviour!

My experience in The Marks and Spencer Outlet in Byker, Newcastle Upon Tyne has on various occasions been upsetting, due to a number of sales staff making derogatory comments about customers thinking they are not being overheard. The young man who was manager thought my concerns were quite amusing, despite saying he would look into the matter. Such rude and unprofessional behaviour from staff members involved including the manager who seemed to think it was all a bit of a joke (judging by the expression on his face)is clearly not acceptable.

I am perfectly polite and appreciative of others and will expect nothing less in return.

I would ask for this arrogant 'above the law mentality' to be eradicated in stores; where customers feel they are being targeted for the amusement of bored sales staff(particularly at the long checkout area).

On a positive note the shop is spacious with a range of good value/quality clothing. Which is a shame, as I do not feel I can continue visiting the Byker Outlet if this present attitude continues to exist. New employees with a healthy positive commitment who promote the M&S values will enhance customer relations and boost store profits. Which highlights the importance of more mature sales staff providing a good example to younger or newly recruited staff as certainly is not the case at the above.

Terrible Customer Service

I received an incorrect order (ordered from the Marks & Spencer outlet website) and when I queried it, was told I needed to return item to Marks & Spencer at my expense, I hasten to add. They 'kindly' offered to refund the postage when it was returned (how many times have I heard this from companies who then renegade on it?).

Given it was their fault, not mine, for sending the incorrect order in the first place, I reminded them of their duties pertaining to the Distant Selling Regulations. Refunds (regulation 14: 3.46) which I highly recommend to anyone to download a copy of; as it clearly shows what these companies are getting away with at the customer's expense.

Suffice to say, the reason for this scathing review is because Marks and Spencer Outlet is now ignoring my emails, which in my view speaks volumes about the contempt it shows to their customers.

Would I recommend the Marks and Spencer Outlet? Absolutely not!

Stinking Clothes - Would Not Refund Me In Full

BEWARE M&S OUTLET!!! I ORDERED AN ITEM AS A GIFT FOR A FRIEND. IT SMELT SO TERRIBLE AND I HAD TO RETURN THE ITEM - I HAVE RECEIVED AN EMAIL SAYING I WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IN FULL AS IT WAS PART OF AN ORDER!!THE OTHER TWO ITEMS WERE FOR ME AND AFTER WASHING (THEY ALSO STUNK) THEY WERE OK. I HAVE NEVER HEARD SUCH RUBBISH. I WILL BE MAKING A COMPLAINT WITH M&S AND WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY KEEP THEIR STOCK BUT IT STINKS. YOU HAVE TO PAY POSTAGE TO RETURN AN ITEM. BEWARE!! ROBDOGS

Rubbish - Items Received Were Only Fit For The Bin

The items I received smelled really bad and were nothing like the photos. Still smelled awful even after airing for 2 days!!!!!! Will now have to return at my expense. Will never use M&S Outlet again. Rubbish
