MK One (Mark One)

I bought a faulty top from Mark one and only realised when I got home it had a stain. When I took it back to the store the next day, I was told maybe I soiled the garment. The lady was rude and argumentative. As she argued with me, another customer approached her till to pay for 2 white dresses. When she heard my conversation she checked her garments and realised they were both stained so she decided to leave them. I was given a voucher to use in 90 days. I saw something at another Mark one store but they refused to accept the voucher in the other store as the voucher was not produced in their store. I was told the voucher can only be used in the specific mark one store it was produced. I explained that this practice is illegal and I will take further action.

Mark One betrays their customers by selling FAULTY GOODS and then refusing their customers refunds. As a teenager I went to Mark One and bought some black leggings. They did not cost much, £4.99p to be exact, but when I got them home I discovered they were faulty. I thought getting a refund would be a simple matter for this reason. How very WRONG I was. They refused to give me a refund, or even an exchange at Mark One Wood Green, a closer branch to my then home. They were also unwilling to pay my travel expenses if I did return to Walthamstow Mark One, but in the end they decided they did NOT even want me to return to The Walthamstow, Mark One shop either for a refund or even an exchange as I had made a big fuss over my appalling treatment. I was DISGUSTED and still am, all this fuss over a £4.99p refund when THEY had sold me a faulty piece of clothing in the first place. It took the shop 7 YEARS to give me a refund, and I only got it because my Dad happened also to be in the fashion business. Most of their other customers would NOT have been so lucky. So do yourselves a favour, and don't shop there.

I still consider about the army surplus store and I have only been there once I recently visit armysurplus365.co.uk. This is the best and cheapest online store of surplus items. The online store deals in genuine army clothing, headgear, army boots, camping equipment, etc. The collection is huge and the price is low. Here you will discover loads of fabulous knick-knacks to boost your military surplus look. Black boots, nets, flasks, flashlights...etc. The first and single time I was in here was in the spring with an old friend. If you're looking for a day of excitement with shopping experience then this is the place you may watch for.

i had never went into mk one before and my friend was wearing a pretty nice top which was from there,so i thought i'd check it out - i wish i hadnt. it was mental from the minute i walked in i didnt understand where the sizes were etc. i bought this top £38 quite nice but as i was in a hurry i thought id buy it and always return it if so. so i bought it took it home and there was sowing stitches gone wrong everywhere so i went back in the afternoon to refund it and they told me it was in the sale and i explained that they made me buy it full price and that it WASNT on the sale rack. but they still wouldnt refund it. never shopping there again.

I like the shop mkone, as it's got great value prices. But the lay outs are horrible! I don't like it when the sales are on because they just bring out the rubbish items, and people get attracted thinking..'oooh that's cheap!'' when they see a SALE sign, but in actual fact its usually the crappy stuff they find from the stock room. Good value of money, nice staff, overall a very nice shop.

i love this shop; i think it caters for sizes and also styles i think the childrens bit upstairs is great. i think it is well presented and has good stock connsistntly.

i have viewed this many times by the jacket i bought which was absoulutley a perfect fitting.

It's good to see a store with plus size clothing even if it's not a huge range, it's fairly cheap compared to other stores. Although i find the staff to seem fairly rude towards me each and every time I've been there, especially if I want to return something. I'm not sure if this is just in our branch (Taunton) but either way I feel their customer service is not something to be proud of. I think the fact that you can't exchange items in store is ridiculous, i was told to send it in the post to the main office and they would issue a refund. Why give out receipts if you can't use them?The quality of the clothes are good but on a couple of occasions I've found buttons missing or rips.

i have bought some good clothes from the store but nothing great. i have noticed that many of the clothes i have bought were damaged . i bought a top recently in the clear stock sale i wore it for the first time on new years and while celebrating the new year the string for the sleave broke the broken arm piece had to be tied around my neck to my other arm piece witch was luckly still intacked this unfortunant event left me worrying all night for the fear of it unravalling it self
