Do Not Deal With This Company!

Visited the Oldham Branch recently and bought laminate flooring and underlay. Arranged for their fitting to come following week. Fitter picked up the flooring and underlay and started to fit flooring. Halfway through said that he was finding it difficult as the boards were different thicknesses and wouldn't click together. He said it was not fit for purpose and took the flooring back to the shop with the underlay and asked them to refund me. I called into the shop the next day and was given a full refund. Well I thought they had! Two weeks later and the refund is not in my account! I called back in store and was put on the phone to what the man behind the counter said was the area Manager? He told me hard luck!. The company was taken over on the same day as my refund (surprise surprise) and I wouldn't get my money back. He told me to take stock to the value of the refund or nothing, I said I didn't want any stock as it is not fit for purpose. He said, then you get nothing. Attitude and service was totally appalling. Now I will have go through the bank to fight for the money back. W M Holdings LTD are the new owners trading as Floors 2 Go. Stay clear. Very unprofessional!!!

We Purchased An Engineered Wooden Floor At A Cost

We purchased an engineered wooden floor at a cost of £1,600 in September 2014 from the Loughborough Floors 2 Go. We had to chase them for a fitting date, then the fitters didn't turn up. We were then called by the fitters to say they wouldn't be arriving that day to fit our floor as they hadn't been paid for the last 4 jobs they'd done for Floors 2 Go. They also contacted the Loughborough store and actually confirmed the flooring wasn't even in stock despite being booked in to fit that day! Floors 2 Go fobbed us off again and again, speaking to us like we were dirt, until we demanded a refund. They then even told us they'd processed our refund (of £1,600) which never materialised either! We ended up claiming the money back via the bank as even though the floor was never supplied or fitted, Floors 2 Go simply refused to deal with us. Disgusted that they're still trading quite honestly. I wish someone had warned us before we went anywhere near the place as its caused us a lot of stress, upset and hassle to get our money back, not to mention the time we took to actually select a suitable floor in the first place.

Laminate Flooring Testimonial

I required a laminate floor to be fitted at very short notice. I had limited knowledge and experience of choosing wooden flooring but I need not have worried as the team at Scunthorpe were able to guide me with all that I required.

Within 30 minutes I had been advised on the durability of the laminate flooring that I had chosen, plus I was given guidance as to how to care for the floor to preserve its long life and to ensure that it always looked smart.........also the flooring packs and underlay had been loaded into the boot of my car along with all associated products had been purchased too. The Fitter had also been contacted and it was agreed that he would fit my floor the following morning at 8am prompt.....all of which had been done in under half an hour.

All of our arrangements went according to plan and the finished floor looked wonderful when finished.

I could not have asked for a better service and all delivered within budget and on time.

With the help of the Floors2Go team at Scunthorpe, I did such a good job that my husband wants me to Project Manage the full refurbishment of our home leaving him time to play plenty of golf (lol!).

Grateful thanks go the all the team, plus the laminate flooring fitter who was efficient and impeccably tidy leaving me nothing to do other than admire he work and my new floor once he had left.

Purchase If You Dare!!

I bought a new floor (costing over £1200) for my kitchen and dining room 3 months ago and it still isn't fitted. 3 installation dates have come and gone and they won't give me my money back, just keep feeding me lines. I bought it from the Leeds branch on Regent Street. Don't go near!!

The service from the Bristol Floors 2 Go was very good value and the carpet was derived on time and the fitting was fast and efficient. The carpet was great value for money. I would highly recommend them anytime

Do not buy flooring from this company!!

The day before my flooring was due to arrive I called to make sure it was still being delivered. I was told that my flooring was out of stock. I asked why no one had called to tell me and they claimed they'd just heard from their head office. A likely story.

I asked when I should expect my floor and they said the end of the month. I asked for a specific date and they couldn't give me one.

I asked to speak to their head office but they said it was against company policy to give it out but they could give me the number for customer services. This number just went to a voicemail message that said, "The mail box you have called is now full". Possibly the most frustrating voicemail of all time.

I had to go back into the shop and after two hours of 'negotiations' I found a more expensive flooring which was in stock and got them to confirm a delivery date at no extra cost to myself.

When the flooring was delivered the driver just dumped the flooring and the palettes on the street in front of my flat. Leaving me to carry all the wood into my house and dispose of the large palettes.

No one at Floors-2-Go warned me that this is how they deliver their wood. I live in a block of flats and they also delivered a neighbours wood at the same time. That customer had not been contacted by Floors-2-Go and they just dumped his flooring on the street outside his flat with no one around to look after it.

I also bought some additional parts to go between the doors in my flat and scotia edging. These were both also late and I had to wait a further two weeks for these to arrive. The dividers that sit between the wooden floors and the carpets of the bedroom were the wrong size and I had to take them back. That was a month ago and I am still waiting for a refund.

This is a terrible company. The customer service is non-existent and no-one is accountable.

Never ever use this company!!

My friend from work recommended floor2go to me, so i went to cardiff branch and purchased, when i got home i realised it was quite expensive, in the next day we went back to the shop and cancelled my order. They said they will refund my money but after two weeks of chasing they phoned me and saying they won't refund my money and offered the goods. This is terrible company and the costumer service is very poor. Now i'm finding things how to get my money back. If i could they tell to all people that pls. Do not go to this company i will do it, they are not deserve of any costumer!

I'm still waiting for the refund on the incorrect additional supplies they sold me. I've since been into the shop where the rep assured me he would resolve the matter however the issue is still ongoing. The reps in the stores are unable to refund items themselves and have to send requests to their head office. This is quite frankly terrible service!!

Was able to pick the floor i wanted and take away the same day and the quality was far better that other flooring stores i had been to plus the sales guy was spot on in dealing with my quetions.

Hard Wood Flooring Delivery

I purchased hard wood flooring with 3 x boxes screws on the 4th April 2014 a invoice totalled £695.

Due to the fact that there was a problem with the system, I had to ring Birmingham in order to make payment by credit card.

I was given a delivery date which was then changed to the following week.

When it was delivered, the boxes of screws were not in the delivery.

Due to the fact that my joiner was attending the following day to start the job, I sourced 3 boxes of screws at a cost of £30. I had paid £17.06 for the screws with Floors - 2 -Go.

Since that time:

- I made numerous calls to Birmingham, with no success - constantly being cut off whilst waiting in a queue;

- I have e-mailed Floors 2 Go from their website, requesting a response to our problem within 48 hours

I did not receive any response.

Your Sheffield branch have helped as much as they can due to the fact that payment was made directly to Birmingham.

I was not happy with the situation due to the fact that non delivery of the screws has cost me an extra £30 which is £13.00 more compared to your purchase price, not to mention the fact that I was not able to claim a refund back from yourselves as I could not get in touch with anyone at your Head Office.

I was given a contact by your Sheffield branch and was able to contact him by e mail.

This gentleman was able to resolve the problem within 3 or 4 days, and my account has now been credited by £30.

He has also recognised that there is a problem with re-payments of non delivered/returned goods, and that he will endeavour to improve this situation.

I hope that he succeeds in this task, as I feel that the goods supplied by Floors - 2 - Go are excellent.
