With my engagement ring no longer 'in service' I wanted to have its stunning centre stone reworked into a dress ring that I could wear every day rather than leaving it lying around in my jewellery box. I looked at various rings for inspiration and then attempted to draw up designs which I discussed with the ever patient Marilyn. Finally I found the design I wanted and showed it to Ian who agreed that he could create my dream ring. Despite his assurance I was still nervous about what the final design would look like in real life so Ian patiently put together a mock up ring with the real stones perched on sticky tape; I loved it. When I collected my new ring I could not believe how very beautiful it was and the gorgeous design really set off my original diamond. I highly recommend Ian King Jewellers and feel that the price was fair too. I'm looking forward to going back there for my next key piece of jewellery!

I recently took my pearl and silver links bracelet to links of London as the pearls had badly tarnished and the silver mesh bracelet was black. They suggested I contact Ian king which I did. After receiving a photo of my bracelet they called me to confirm that they could replace the pearls, restring the bracelet and clean it. I sent it to them that afternoon, and received it back 6 days later. I now have a brand new bracelet .

We went to Ian King to have our wedding bands made after I was not able to find anything "off the rack" in any jewellery store that I liked next to my engagement ring. We could not have been happier with the whole experience - they were so helpful, listened to our ideas, helped us design, and then expertly crafted our beautiful rings. They engaged us in the whole process, keeping us updated along the way. We love that we now have something that is unique and special to us and, being bespoke, works perfectly with my engagement ring. After doing a lot of research on Jewellery shops looking to change a family engagement ring I chose Ian King and I couldn't be happier with their service. Both of them were incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the changes made, were faultless and completed ahead of schedule. Having used Ian King for my engagement ring after such a good service I went back and bought my wedding rings from them. Again the service was faultless and ahead of schedule. They will definitely be my jeweller forever more. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I anxiously visited Ian King with my engagement ring to find out if there was any way possible that more diamonds could be added but still keeping my original ring. Both were so helpful and told me not to worry as they can add to the ring exactly what I wanted. The process was so quick and I picked up my ring exactly two weeks later and I absolutely love it! It is literally amazing what they can do and I highly recommend this fantastic jeweler’s to all.

I left a ring in which meant a lot to me and asked them to reset it to use an my engagement ring. I was so happy with my ring. Ian and Mariyln are a lovely couple and made my ring into something so precious and delicate. I would 100% recommend them.

I fully endorse the other reviews on this page. Marilyn and Ian are both extremely friendly and knowledgable. I recently had my diamond engagement ring modified to incorporate two other stones. Although I was keen to get it done, I was also a little nervous as the original solitaire diamond was already lovely. I left it in Ian's very capable hands and the results were fantastic! He turned what was already a pretty nice ring into a really stunning piece. I have purchased a few pieces from their shop and I have been delighted with all of them. A really professional but friendly service.

My wife and I have used Ian King several times to melt old chains and rings (which we weren't wearing because they were old fashioned) and redesign them into rings and cuff links that we would wear. Every time the end result has been great. Highly recommended.
