Broken Tennis Bracelet
Well if I only I'd read the reviews before asking my 13 year daughter to pick my wife something for valentines. Bought 12/2/24, returned 03/03/24. The store manager at Warrington offered shockingly bad service. She actually claimed that my wife had snapped it as she could see fluff in the bracelet. I had to laugh. They refused the refund on this basis and it seems that they refuse all refunds by the look of it.
What they won't find funny is that they've been given 14 days to refund it or I'll be filling out a county court claim form. A lot of hassle you might think for a cheap bracelet?. Yes it is, but it's the principle. You can't let animals like this loose on the high street without making them accountable. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Fastner On Earing.
My husband brought me 2 pairs of white gold earrings which I did ask for loop earrings. None of them fasten correctly . I've lost one already. Never again . I will use H Samuel's

Bad Service
Bought a bracelet set as a gift.
When the bracelets were worn for the first time, one broke. I took the broken bracelet back and asked for an exchange. Told needed to bring both as a set. So I went back on my next free day, only to be told they don't do exchanges or refunds. I was given a form and basically told to get lost.
If you want to keep customers happy, exchange faulty products. A bracelet should be able to be worn. It shouldn't break first time out.
Either it is faulty or not fit for purpose.
Don't buy from the Plymouth shop. You will regret the decision. Bad product, bad staff and a company policy that doesn't care.
Appalling.

They Only Care About Taking Your Money
Wish I had read the reviews 1st, spent £100 on a ring here but now H.Samuel have to put Warren James's mistake right at an extra cost to us, Warren James are incompetent and customer service ..... Don't make me laugh, once Warren James have your money they don't care about you, tried to get them to sort their incompetence out but they refused to BUT they will sort their mistake but only if we pay them extra and this is after they have got me to email them the receipt, what's the point if they not prepared to sort THEIR mess out.
Don't trust them, I've got trading standards involved with this.

No Tefunds
Bought the wife a suprise 50th ring. Told the manageress that there's a 50/50 chance she wouldn't like it and could I return it.
She said yes. What she didn't tell me although she had ample time to tell me was that there is a NO REFUNDS POLICY and I could exchange or a 6 months credit note.
Shocking and misleading.
Never will I go through their doors again

Faulty Earings
I purchased my elderly mother a pair of earrings at Skegness branch and when I went to take the back off the earring fell to pieces, very cheaply made. I returned these asking for a refund, was told I could have another item in exchange but no refund, obviously I had doubts about the quality of products, so was offered a credit note in exchange which is lasts six months. She told me it stated this on the receipt, I could see nothing only replace or credit. I am appalled with this and will not recommend them to anyone. Given that Skegness is losing shops daily at the moment I am surprised at this statement. if I had purchased these online I could have a refund to my account but not in the shop. Ridiculous in this day and age and I wont shop there again, apart from using credit before it runs out and hopefully can find an item which is not of very poor quality.
Q&A
Hello I have some good ther but I lose the agrement u have any copy on Bunea Anisoara
My partner proposed to me but the ring was the wrong size. When I bought it into their store in Wellingborough they didn't have my size so they gave me a voucher that I can only use in that store. I wonder how long it will take for them to bring my size. The voucher is valid for 6 months but I don't want to wait so much for my ring. What should I do?
My partner proposed to me but unfortunately the ring was the wrong size. I bought it into your store in Burton to be resized and my ring couldnt be exchanged because I had worn it,it was ready within 2 days and my ring fit perfectly. When I got home I noticed a crack in my dimond that wasn't there before. I was so disappointed and thought Warren James wouldn't exchange my ring so you probably wouldn't replace my diamond either. It has been annoying me every day so I'm sending this message in hope this problem can be solved! Can you help me?
You need to approach warren james...I have had dealings with them,,,,you really should have checked it before you left the shop to flag up to them that there was a crack...they are awful to deal with I tell you and the quality of their items are equally as bad! I would go into the shop and get head office address and the area manager and take it up with them...hope you get sorted out soon!
I put a £65 deposit down on an engagement ring a couple of days ago to secure it. Unfortunately my partner and I have decided that it's just too soon! I see from the receipt that they don't refund deposits, obviously I don't want to lose max £65. Would I be entitled to a credit note?
You should get a credit note but my experience I would avoid all dealings with the company. Customer service is a nightmare and worse when you contact head office.
Just bought £170 curb chain from Warren James as a present. Now I worried because there is no hallmark on the chain. Does this mean it is not gold and will wear off? As it is for a present it will look just like a cheap piece of jewellery without any hallmark. Not happy, want value for my money.
My fiance brought my engagement ring about 3 months ago now, I've had it for about 2 and I hardly wear it as I'm an engineer and don't want to damage it. Its 18ct white gold and 1/2 carat diamond. Yesterday I was shopping and went to turn around and my finger tapped the wall, not hard, no impact, literally touched! And I instantly knew something was wrong, I looked at the diamond and half way down the diamond it's cracked horizontally!!! There are no marks or grazes as I never wear it and there was no impact or knock! So I took it into a different jewellers as there wasn't a warren james near by, they said it definately shouldn't have cracked and even wear and tear diamonds shouldn't do that.. so where do I stand?? Because I've had it more than 30 days but obviously it's not fit for purpose.. and with reviews their customer services and policies aren't great. If they say they can't do nothing then where do I go? The ring was approx 1,000. Many thanks
I've ordered a ring special size, having to pay 50% cost to order. It's non refundable. With hindsight, I think this is unfair. Can the money not be used for something else? Also, it's taking 6 weeks. A Hatton Garden jewellers takes 2-3 weeks. Who looks more professional?
My partner got my engagement ring in Warren James and it was one size to big, they sent it off to have a smaller size and say it will be 6 weeks before I can get it back. Is this normal? Very disappointed that they take so long.
I'm having to wait 6 weeks for an order. Not keen on that idea either.
Bought necklace from Warren James that cost £60. The first time I wore it the clasp broke. Can I demand a refund? I bought it 2 weeks ago and I've still got receipt.
I bought my engagement ring 2 years ago. I wear this ring about once a week. I noticed yesterday that there is a diamond missing. I thought engagement rings were designed and made to last alot longer than this. What is your advice on how to fix this?
I had a similar issue with Warren James (Sheffield branch) but they are helpful so I bet you might be lucky depending on store and managers discretion. Good luck
