I Am An Avid Cloth Nappy User, But I Couldn't Face

I am an avid cloth nappy user, but I couldn't face buckets while on holiday, so I decided to get some disposables for the week. I chose the Moltex Oko Eco-Friendly nappies as they are the only ones I could find which are totally compostable.

They are unbleached, and use far fewer chemicals in the production process than regular disposables, and they contain no perfume, so they are kinder to baby's skin. They use tea extract to help nappy rash and smells, which I found a bit odd, as they start to smell of tea when they've been on for a while!

My baby did get slight nappy rash to start with, but she seems to have got used to them, as she is OK now.

These nappies are fairly expensive compared to normal disposables, but I think it's worth the extra if you can afford it. Also, they're not available in many shops so you have to get them online - www.thenappylady.co.uk is the cheapest place I've found them, and most sites that sell them do discounts for bulk buying if you have the space.

All in all, they are a good nappy and a convenient alternative to cloth.
