We Looked Around At A Lot Of Seats For Our Daughte
We looked around at a lot of seats for our daughter and came to the conclusion that the added saftey and easy of fitting of the
Britax Isofix Base Infant Car Seat was the way forward.
We had a Britax when she was smaller and felt it was very good and had read a lot of great things about how safe it was - so stuck with that brand - and glad we did.
She is really comfortable in it and we have it in the forward facing position.
The only reason Ive given this 4 stars rather than 5 is because it doesnt recline that much - ideally it would recline a bit more so that she can really get off to sleep (she is terrible at sleeping in the car unfortunatley!)
Overall though - Id definitely recommend this having looked at 5 or 6 alternatives.
The best thing is that on our Audi A3 is incredibly easy to fit, so if we need to take it out or move it, its really quick and easy (less than 10 seconds)

The Britax Isofix Base Infant Car Seat Is An Excel
The Britax Isofix Base Infant Car Seat is an excellent seat and has suited my daughter well from the age of 9 months. She has always found it comfortable. It's probably the safest car seat on the market (according to Which? reviews), which should be enough for anyone. It's not cheap, but to coin a biking phrase, only buy a £50 helmet if you have a £50 head.
The only problem is that the Isofix latches are quite tricky in some cars. If the isofix brackets in your car are difficult to get to (they vary a lot between cars - sometimes they are low down under the base of the back seat or hidden behind the upholstery) the isofix attachments in the Britax tend to retract. This wasn't a problem in a Honda Accord, Honda Civic, or Lexus IS250 but made it really tricky to fit to the grandparents Nissan. If you don't need to take it in and out of the car, it's not a problem.
The harness buckle is alright but there is a foam pad that sometimes gets in the way, especially when your child wears winter coats.
