Amazing Wedding Photography

The photography for our wedding was one of the most important parts of our day and we chose Halay McGuiness Studios because Bryan‘s work was incredible with a very fun “modern” style.

Before the wedding, he discussed with us how to structure our wedding day so that the photography would not be intrusive, and he even recommended florists, our wedding band, and a lot of ideas for the day (he should be a planner!)

During the wedding day, Bryan and his assistant worked perfectly to keep everything stress free and fun – We had our “first look”, and the photos from this moment were incredible. The one part that I thought was completely original was when he told us to take 15 minutes to ourselves and he left us alone to soak everything in. This really slowed down the day and it was really the only chance we had time to ourselves the entire day. From there, we took all of our bridal party photos, family photos and just us, so that we were able to enjoy every minute of our cocktail hour and reception. This was suggested by Bryan when planning ahead, and it was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day.

Many of my wedding guests told me they loved my photographer, and we are highly recommended him to everyone

We loved having Bryan as our photographer and the wedding album came out beautiful. He did our wedding in Rhode Island (we had a traditional Hindu wedding) and it was really important that we had a lot of photos and details of the ceremony.

Sarah Meyers - Connecticut & New York

I found Halay McGuiness Photography through The Knot. My (now) husband was the one who met with him because I was not living in the state at the time. My husband called me right after their 1 1/2 hr meeting (they are both sports nuts) and said we needed to book him. What I loved about Bryan was how flexible he was. For our engagement shoot, he was more than willing to come with us to New York City and basically follow us around to our favourite parts of the city and take our pictures. We really did not want the standard engagement shots of us at Central Park, instead we took him to SoHo, South Street Seaport, Rockefeller Center, Canal Street and Grand Central station. Bryan Halay really has an eye for creating the right shot! He took some unique pictures and my friends were raving over them. After seeing the results of the engagement shoot, I was sooo excited for the wedding. Bryan sent an assistant to be with my husband the day of the wedding and he came to our house to be with me. He was full of energy and ideas. I have not seen the wedding pics yet, but he did show me some shots he took during the wedding and I cannot wait! He also came to my rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding and took pics of my family and friends as 90% of our guests came from out of town. I loved having Bryan as my photographer because he was a cool guy and is extremely creative. He loves taking pictures and it shows in his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer for their wedding!

We Used Halay Mcguiness Photography For Our

We used Halay McGuiness Photography for our wedding at St. Clements Castle in 2009.. While Bryan Halay is fairly expensive, we were more than pleased with the photography and even more impressed that he created a complete slideshow to display for us online. He was very responsive to any questions we might have had and would meet with us a few times to go over any details for our wedding day. He also worked with us to copletely design our own wedding album

We received our album and prints within 2 months and they are absolutely beuatiful.

If you can afford to have the studio provide photography for your wedding, we would highly recommend them.

As A Former Bride Of 2 Years, It Took About That L

As a former bride of 2 years, it took about that long to receive our wedding album. Follow-through is horrendous; we had to do most of the chasing to get the answers to our questions. Repeated assurances from the photographer that our CD of pictures was on its way to us via UPS, wasn't. It took 4 months to deliver. An appointment this year in front of small claims court (decision resulted in a positive outcome for Halay & McGuiness) where our album was promised to us within 2 weeks after we submitted our final designs still yielded nothing in that timeframe.

We finally received it just shy of our 2nd wedding anniversary and although it proved to be beautiful, it's not worth the stress and the chase to get it.
