Collumbine Limos Ltd, Falkirk, Stirlingshire

I was unfortunate to meet there left hand drive pink limo comeing towards me with half the limo on the wrong side of the road forcing me to swerve and damage my car on the kerb and scaring the life out my 3 year old daughter who was in the car at the time...

I went after the limo and managed to get the driver to stop when I asked for his insurance he refused he had a party of girls in the back he took my number and promised to phone but never did.

I contacted the mobile number on the website and spoke with a woman who said she would speak with the driver and get back to me. which never happened So i called again and was told I was lying. all the girls backed up the driver (which was not the case they also agree with me on what happened since I know the bridal party who were in the car) She said "I have weddings to deal with today and hung up on me"

I have now contacted the police about this matter and I hope a swift response" Not exactly a great response from supposedly "professional company"

After speaking with the girls today who were in the car they say there service is poor! They were late for there party.. and i think they are seeking a refund. But I doubt they will get it since there so called "professional" drivers can't even provide insurance details at the side of the road!

I was phoned at 7pm on the evening before my wedding to be told the vintage limo that we had hired had been in the garage for 3 days and wasn't available. I was told a normal limo was hired from another company for £290 and I was offered £150 off the total cost. When I said I expected a bit more considering the difference in price between the 2 cars I was told that if I didn't accept it then the whole booking would be cancelled and I wouldn't have any cars for my wedding. I was backed into a corner and given no option other than to accept- where else was I going to find 2 wedding cars at 7pm on the night before my wedding?

Have spoken to both the owner of the other company who the normal limo was apparently hired from and somebody from collumbine only to find out it was leant as a favour and collumbine didn't pay a penny for it. So basically collumbine have kept the money I paid for the vintage limo minus the £150 and I had the use of the normal limo that they got for free.

I should have been told when the car first went into the garage and given the opportunity to see if I could arrange more suitable cars by myself. I has a vintage Beaufort and a normal limo which didn't match at all. Also I was promised 'real' champagne in my cars but was given sparkling perry which you get in lidl for £2.

Have been over twice to try and resolve this issue but the phone is disconected and the garage where the cars are stored is completely empty and there is nobody around. Have since been told the girl who handles bookings is on holiday but it all seems a bit shady to me.

Reading other reviews I am not the only disappointed bride. I would be very carrful before booking with this company and check that they are still trading before handing over any money.

Just want to say a huge thank you. Booked 11/06/2014 for my gran's 90th birthday. Absolutely outstanding. Very punctual and the driver was excellent. Could not have wished for better. Thank you so much for making my gran's day. Will definitely recommend you.

I was arranging a night out for my 21st birthday and was looking for a way to get me and my friends into the town together. I called around a few companies that provided limos and got ridiculous quotes due to us requiring the limos late at night. I was recommended to try Collumbine Wedding services by a family remember who recently used them as they had limos within their fleet, at first I wasn't sure they would be able to accommodate due to them providing wedding services but when I called they were more than happy to discuss my requirements. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and provided me with a reasonable price for the hire. I got the option on how I would like to pay the balance which I opted to pay over the phone. When the limo arrived on the night we were met by a very friendly driver who was kind enough to wish me a happy birthday. Our journey through was a brilliant laugh and we even got some banter from the driver. The journey back home was equally as good and I have to praise the driver for his fantastic patients for a rowdy group of 8 lads. Over all we had a great night made even better by the friendly service at Collumbine! Would most definitely recommend to anyone!

What an amazing service we got from Collumbine Wedding Services! We had been recommended to use them by a friend and I'm glad we did. When we contacted the advisor at Collumbine she was very helpful and because we were uncertain of what we were looking for she gave some recommendations and invited as down to view the fleet. When we went to view the cars we were warmed by the humble setting of a family owned business and welcomed by the lovely young woman we spoke to on the phone. She then took us round the cars to which we saw a fantastic selection of cars from the old vintage style to the more modern limos, she recommend the vintage wedding cars as my bridal car and due to the number of brides maids the vintage Excalibur limo to keep with the vintage theme. On the day the cars arrived 15 minutes early and the driver informed us they were there but just to take our time. When we were finally ready to leave we were greeted by two friendly, professional, and well presented drivers. The cars were absolutely spotless and it was clear to see they had been very well looked after. We arrived at the venue in great time and they even waited during the ceremony to allow us to take pictures with the cars afterwards which turned out fantastic! I'm overall very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend them. I would like to thank the team at Collumbine and wish them all the very best!

We booked a limo to take us to a restaurant for my partners birthday limo arrived on time and looked very clean both inside and out ! The driver was wonderful opened the bubbly for us and took us to a nice photo location to get some photographs before we were dropped off for dinner the music in limo was great we all had a fab time booked this company again for my daughters prom next month and she cannot wait ! Think the company is under new management when I queried the bad reviews on here I was told the company was took over in January and the issues had been sorted give this company a chance as I can guarantee they were fantastic ! Thanks for all your help with the booking !

Booked limo for my daughters hen weekend to take us to the airport. There was no music, so we had to provide the music through my daughtets I phone. When we arrived at airport the doors wouldn't open, so we were sitting for about 5 minutes before doors would open. I felt a bit panicky. Driver was very pleasant.

Hired the pink hummer for my daughters 13th birthday, the car turned up on time, and really surprised my daughter. The car came with music and karaoke The girls came back and said they had a great time. I'd recommend again.

Limo turned up with its unkempt dirty looking driver to pick my friends and i up for an evening at the Theatre, the limo in question was leaking rain water through the door seal and also was very grubby inside... this was the least of our problems.

We were in a road traffic accident resulting in all 5 of the passengers being injured and requiring hospital treatment. The driver refused to call the police and also did not have a first aid kit. Please do not use this firm!!

This company provided the hire of my wedding cars on the 11th of January, all 3 cars were stunning, the drivers were very professional and very friendly. The day went so smoothly and wouldn't have done so if it wasn't for such a wonderful service. I would recommend this car company as the service I got was first class !!
