Do Not Use This Company It’s Terrible
Bought a Quingo from the sales man that called he was full of flannel And took us in. We paid £2895 Po pounds we were pressured. Full of promises was the salesman. Said the scooter would be delivered and the driver would explane the procedure of assemble again. The driver said his job was to deliver nothing else . The salesman did say he would call again in two weeks to make sure everything he never did the scooter remains were the delivery driver put it never been used a waste of money we can ill afford. We feel we were taken advantage of we are just 2 pensioners.
Very Bad Service
Stay far away from this company
Not worth the money
They like your money and they give very good service until you start paying

My daughters brought me a quingo…
My daughters brought me a quingo scooter in 2021 as I had covid an seizures due to covid and cannot walk without assistance, hoped it would give me some freedom but far from it. Driving around on it if you go over a bump it cuts out then you have to reset the batteries which are under the seat which I cannot do myself as I can not stand without help so if I go out on it I must have someone with me, which defeats the object. I tried to go to the doctors on it only got half way there when I had to turn round because I only had half the power left in the scooter and only just got home. I hadn’t gone a mile and the scooter is supposed to do 23 miles. We have rang the company who are very rude and they won’t take the scooter in part exchange but will send out someone to look at it but that’s £74. I have also had to pay over £300 for new batteries. I will never recommend these scooters to any that scooter cost my daughters £2000 and it’s not fit for purpose.
Shocking Aftercare. Don't Bother With Them
SHOCKING 'AFTERCARE' DON'T BOTHER. I have a Quingo Flyte with ramps. I wasn't allowed to go to the warehouse and try one out before I bought it, but managed to try someone else's. The scooter is great. My problem is with the ramps, which are not actually fit for purpose. These are the mark 2 ramps. I bought the scooter in Aug 2021. In September, I called them out, as the ramps were extremely stiff to pull out, but if you did pull them hard enough, they simply came out of their housing altogether, as the retaining buttons didn't pop out to locate in the stop position. Workmen were sent out, but I was made to feel it was my fault they weren't working, and they were doing me a favour by replacing part of the ramp. They've still never worked really well. They got so stiff again, I called Quingo. The extremely rude lady who answers the phone told me they'd charge £74 call out, plus any parts and labour charge. I hadn't even had the scooter a year then, and it was supposed to have had a year warranty. I refused to pay, but sent an email as they tell you to in answer to a lot of the negative comments. I had a phone call a few days later, some lady (not the rude one) telling me 'the manager' would call me back the next day. No call ever came, that was a fortnight ago. I've given up now. My partner has done what he can to free the ramps up, as I broke a bone in my back 4 weeks ago, and it's imperative I have the ramps working in order to use my scooter for the numerous hospital/gp appointments/scans and physio I'm having to attend as a result of my injury.
They're more than happy to take your money, but THE AFTERCARE IS NON EXISTENT. Don't bother using these people. The stress and grief just isn't worth it
Can’t Sell On
Unfortunately my father passed away after using his scooter only once , he paid out over £5500 for the flyte and docking station but it looks like I’ll have to scrap it , nobody will take it from me in fact all the companies I have contacted tell me they won’t touch Quingos due to the cost of repairs .. Wish my dad had done some research before parting with his hard earned cash .. Also don’t expect any help from Quingo customer service , the lady we spoke to was quite rude and extremely unhelpful.
too true! If you find a fault, don't bother having it repaired as they will take you to the cleaners with horrendous charges. No other repairers will touch them, and the only option is to throw them over a cliff and filming it to post on youtube and twitter with an appropriate warning to avoid them at all cost
My email is [email protected] if you didn't sell thx
Did you sell scooter...my email is [email protected] if you still have
Broken After 229miles
My very old scooter died and a good friend gave me his quingo toura 2 which had done 117 miles but he could no longer use the scooter and I soon found out why the scooter
was incredibly hard to steer but I used the scooter for a few mths then after I had got the milage up to ,229 the quingo broke down I had a service engineer from guingo out and his verdict was the control box amongst other things had failed the total in parts would be over £1100 plus the £83 call out .As they only sell for around £500 on eBay I passed on this and sold the scooter for parts to cover the call out fee. After my experience using this scooter I can't recommend this to anyone I bought a used midi and have done over a1000 miles far more comfortable and better to use
Scooter Ok But Customer Care Is Shockingly Poor And Rude
Had to complain so many times about service. Rude, ineffective, several failures. No apologies. Instead they either extremely rude or assure you it is dealt with but it isn't. AVOID.
No Help Whatsoever
I had to think long and hard before writing this review as I don’t like to give anyone any bad feedback, but the customer service team and the Main Manager Spoke to myself and another family member with no compassion after telling them we had lost our Uncle 1 month after purchasing the Quingo Scooter, we respect they can’t take the scooter back, but some advice and help was all we asked for, to be shouted at over the phone and not been able to have a word in edgeways Was very difficult for us after losing our Uncle, I hope one day your never in our shoes and you have to encounter such awful customer service, I would never advise anyone to buy a Quingo as no other scooter company has any good feedback relating to these products, no one will buy the scooter and we paid over £5000 as he had all the added extras to go with it, now we are trying to get at least £1000 to help with funds for the funeral, moral of this story is don’t touch a Quingo scooter and I hope someone will send the whole team to learn Customer Service skills. You have let your company down and the family of our Uncle. Disgusting behaviour. Also for anyone who does but this product be warned you won’t be able to sell it on.
Very Bad Customer Service..
My dear nan purchased her scooter for £3864..she very sadly passed away last month..
My nan had the scooter for 18 months.
It still has 2 year warranty..
We have tried to sell the scooter to help fund her funeral, she has no money because she invested it in this scooter of which she desperately needed.
I contacted many mobility scooter companies to try and sell the scooter, I was kindly advised they no one wants to buy quingo scooters and I would be lucky to get £100 for it..
I contacted quingo and explained what I was told. The staff were so rude and told me they do not buy back scooters even though they advertise selling second hand scooters on there web site..
Very unhelpful very rude.
There is no one who wants to purchased a quingo scooter..
I am very distressed so we have a scooter that was brought for £3864..that is pretty much un saleable, I don't have the time to wait for a private buyer...I need to raise funds to pay for her funeral..
Quingo were very unhelpful showed no compassion for our loss..
No company out side of quingo will buy or even entertain these scooters...as I said quingo advertise second hand scooters, but don't want to buy them back ???....
All they want is to take thousands of pounds off you and offer no help in reselling there products...knowing that no one will buy a quingo scooter...
Extremely upset with this company...DO NOT BUY A Quingo scooter..
I was told to try and sell it privately,
Hi As discussed on the phone call we had other scooter companies will obviously not be interested in buying a Quingo scooter !, the don't have the training or in-depth knowledge of our products and secondly they are in the market of selling scooters and want to sell you a new scooter although you are not in the market so they could say anything, you are correct we do sell reconditioned scooters on our website these are scooters that have been fully reconditioned after the contract hire period they have been leased out on then sold whilst on contract hire the scooters have been serviced and maintained to the highest standards so we are aware of the scooters condition.
As a company we did advise you how to sell the scooter however you did not have the time I do understand this and must on behalf of the company send our sincere condolences to you and your family for your loss, in speaking with you on the phone you expressed that your Nan had used the scooter and it had been a great asset in her latter years so I do feel as though this review is a little unfair given that a scooter review should be about the scooter and not the fact that we couldn't help in the repurchase of your Nan's scooter I would advise that you don't sell it for £100 though.
Q&A
I am interested in buying a second hand quingo. This is for financial and environmental reasons. There seem to be quote a number advertised on ebay etc. Transport is sometimes an issue. I would like to be assured that quingo would provide service, obviously at my expense. Could anyone help me with that?
Hi All quingo Toura started going slower and slower then stopped battries are charged brake releases on forward and reverse but motor does not operate it is not in freewheel and there are no faults on display or spanners.Any suggestions? thanks
What does the spanner light indicate?
that there is a fault
the number next to the spanner indicates what the fault is
I recently lost my dad and he had a Quingo Vitess. He used it up until early 2015. It has been stored under cover in a dry place. We have charged the battery no problem, but have a Spanner and no: 5 showing. Looked this up in the handbook and followed the 'reset fault' instructions, but it still will not go. It is in 'drive' position. Anybody got any ideas as to what we can do? I would appreciate any ideas. Thank you.
I too have had problems with battery charging almost from the start on my year old Quingo Vitesse. Basically these are temperamental beasts which don't like not being used. The problem could be with the battery charger - I'm sure Quingo supply poor quality ones - I've had mine changed twice. My scooter has been a nightmare, Quingo make 'gestures' about putting things right, but they never seem to work. Try contacting them to see if they will fix the problem, but be prepared for a hefty bill if the scooter is out of warranty - they'll probably tell you you need new batteries. Find out much they'll charge for a callout before they come, too. Unfortunately you can only go to them - they won't supply parts to any other engineers.
How much will it cost to upgrade my Quingo Air?
Frankly I wouldn't bother to get another Quingo. They are grossly overpriced, the servicing is abysmal and if you have a problem scooter (as I have) having taken your money they don't want to know. I've had service engineers come along (wasting my time) who won't even acknowledge that I have a problem, others, to be fair, have tried to help, but the problem persists. I would cut your losses and go to a reputable local mobility shop for your new scooter - some of them also sell reliable used models.
