Bartercard

We joined this company as one of the salesman was a friend of a friend. The idea is that you sell your product to other companies within the network and collect 'Trade pounds' which you can then spend on other companies goods within the network.

The idea sounds good and they show you a huge directory of all the companies in the network.

That is as good as it gets - most companies ramp up the cost of their goods and services within the Bartercard network.

Bartercard charge you (in cash!) to make a sale, to make a purchase and on top of that charge you a monthly admin fee for doing nothing.

Overall we have lost £1000's and have a large surplus of Trade pounds that they now want to charge us over £300 to spend.

If you need signs and some internet marketing and don't mind a huge reduction in your cash flow then Bartercard is for you!

However if you prefer to have a good cash flow and don't like throwing good money after bad then avoid this company like the plague.
