If you don't have any issues, the automated system on their website works well. BUT, if you happen to have any issues with your formation or addition requests or help from COMPANIES MADE SIMPLE, it is anything but simple. The one person that works/owns the company will not be inconvenienced to help you. FIND A DIFFERENT AGENT, plenty good ones out there.

We have a mail forwarding service with these clowns, I have lost count of the times our post has disappeared. A gentleman in France contacted us and said he has mail for us! Cheques aswell. Statutory mail regularly goes missing they recently returned HMRC documents to sender saying we are no longer registered there! Unfortunately yes we were registered there and pay regularly for this pathetic service. Meeting after meeting falls on deaf ears and the same problems happen time and time again, it gets very embarrassing chasing customers for payments which they've already sent to St John st address but we have failed to receive. My advice is to avoid their services like the plague, you will be put out of business before you know it as mail is rarely received. Useless.

What is the point of setting up a Registered Office Address (so that your personal address is not shown on the internet) if when they send mail to your home address, it still has BOTH your full name and company name and they can't get it right no matter how often you ask them. So pointless if you live in a block of flats. What happens if this contravenes your Tenancy Agreement? Would be great if Company House and Companies Made Simple worked together and contacted the Director to ask if the information was still correct before anything goes online or if the Director is happy for it to go online!

Everything is just more and more money, so you have to buy Registered Address, then a Service Address for the Director for security reasons, and then a Mail Forwarding for about £64 every 3 months, and then they decide you can't receive your "junk" mail anyway. They accept parcels i.e. any printing you may have had done, for an cost. Emails have gone unanswered for days! To sum up their service - Frustrating and costly!

Not recommended for the Small, struggling, tight budget new company, maybe for bigger companies that are already established! I have found other companies that are cheaper offering all sorts of packages!

Very quick to take your money but after that their service is rubbish.

I bought a comprehensive company report and was very dissapointed with the amount of information that was provided. could have got the same amount of deatil from the companies house for £1.

customer service unacceptable. if you wish a bank referal services. Forget this is going nowhere.

Dont hesitate to pay by paypal and open a case if you are not happy

They never reply to emails and when you escalate some problem they don't even give you a ticket number to track it!!!

Cash back promise is full of fraud....

They offer you everything you could need and deliver on very little. What you do get, you have to chase and their answers often don't have much to do with the questions.

Their £ 50 cash-back for opening a bank account is a farce, they don't tell you that you have to actively claim it back, the when you ask where it is they tell you that the reclaim period has expired.

promise a lot give nothing... before registering was promised to receive cash back, never gor nothing after contacting them dozen of times

I have decided to register for VAT and submitted my VAT application via website www.companiesmadesimple.com

I received some automated email instructions. I filled in all papers and send them to their address in London.

I was not getting any response so I send them an email asking if they received my application. They said it takes up to 4-6 weeks to look at my application and send it to HMRC but their website states it takes up to 4 weeks to receive a VAT number. I was furious because could not register with any wholesalers without my VAT and I was convinced it only takes 4 weeks to get one.

6 weeks had been gone and I had no response from them. You cannot imagine how furious I was. I asked them for a refund and spoke to my accountant to do the VAT application for me. I received a response from companiesmadesimple after 3 days and they said that they never received any application and its okey for them refund the money but they will charge me £10 administration fee for the problems I caused!

I didn't even get an appologie from them

I warn everybody who wants to use their company registration services!
