They won't stop spamming me with unsolicited recruitment emails.

I was sent an email to place me in a job that was not of my skills or industry. If i was a client, god who or what they would send me.

I don't keep my mobile phone number on my linkedin profile because it's not how I want to be approached by recruiters. An evolution jobs employee however after not receiving an immediate response from me to his linkedin message has hunted down my mobile number and proceeded to call me while I'm in work at my current place of employment. When I didn't answer I received a text message. This feels very stalker-ish, not what I want recruiters doing. Even if I was interested in the role he was looking to fill I'd have to be very desperate for work to apply through him because I in no way want to reward this terrible behaviour.

I'm not surprised that Evolution win lots of industry awards. I was introduced to them by a friend and they have helped me get quite a few contracts. They're both friendly and professional, a difficult balance to achieve.

I have, in turn, recommended them.

Today the latest in a long line of emails which never seem to cease (despite many requests to stop them). I was asked about a C# Developer role for which I have no experience / knowledge whatsoever.

Previously I was emailed a Java developer role (ditto re. experience).

I pity the poor clients who are paying for supposedly targeted candidates as Evolution just continually target people who quite clearly don't work in that field.
