Awful agency! They send you for an interview and then don't give any feedback.

This is the only establishment that insists in sending me emails that are received garbled. They patently don't read or understand my emails complaining of this. Why this happens ONLY from this crowd is anyone's guess. Maybe their software needs an update? - something desperately needs sorting. Ridiculous.

Bad response and behaviour from Matchtech employees. They take ages to make or change payments. They never get it right the first time. You have to chase them again and again. Its the same response everytime you contact them either by phone or email. I have had a hellish experience with Matchtech. They do not do what they say they will do. It takes on an average 8-9 MONTHS for Matchtech to process a simple payment or salary mistake they have committed.When your consultant is off on holiday or sick NO one will help you or WILL BE WILLING to HELP. They speak to you as if its your mistake that your personal consultant is absent. Matchtech needs to have proper trained staff and better service. Please stay away from Matchtech.

They have made more errors on payments than any other agency myself or my wife have worked through and we have used a few in over 25 years of contracting. Of course, the errors were in their favour every time. Their accountancy department is in shambles -- or maybe not as it works for them... Also, poor communication -- when one consultant is away nobody can give any suitable information regarding the job, relationship with the client etc. A friend of mine handed his notice in and the consultant didn't pass it to the client and then tried to blame it on him for being late and to make him stay on for longer...

I wish I had read up on this agency before I started working for them and I could of saved myself a lot of time and money!!

They lie to you and chasing them is like going round in circles. It's like they've done this many times before and I was just another one of their victims!

All I can say is stay away from them!

First contact - telephone call from the agency was very positive, impressive. I live in Belfast and they oferred me job in Portsmouth. We agreed to the start date 19th of August. Me and my friend arrived to Portsmouth according the instructions from an advisor. Monday morning at 7.00am we went to the company we should have been employed by. They said, they have got our surnames, but wrong first names and they told us to contact the agency. We phoned agency, asked for the same person, she wouldn't answer the calls, apparently she was on holiday (By the way we have got this information at 16.30, so it took them all day to decide what they tell us). We asked agency to sort the situation with employer out. First answer we have got was they will get it sorted and they will let us know, answer the second day was, that it was our mistake and have got the dates mixed up and we didn't understand what she was telling us. They haven't been helpful at all. My question is following: Two of us have received the same call, at the same day,we were provided with the same information. English is our native language,so agency can't use 'foreigners excuse', because of your english. And why would we travel 500 miles from Belfast, just a boat trip? The employer has got our surnames and I am asking where from? So who made a mistake then? Brilliant MatchTech well done, good job. I hope that this will be helpful for the people they want to register with MatchTech.

Registered with this agency some long time ago, excellent attitude (Lisa), always informing me about suitable vacancies, went for an interview once. Nice jobs, lovely polite staff, they understand job seekers very well.
