Avon Personal Accident Insurance

I recently had an accident which resulted in fractures to my sternum and a lower back bone and tears to my liver and spleen. I spent only 3 nights in hospital as none of my injuries could be given a quick fix e.g a pot applied. Once the level of pain medication needed was reached I was discharged. I will have further outpatient tests and possibly treatment. I was told by an Avon claims representative that I could not claim because I had only spent 3 nights in hospital. In todays world that is not uncommon. The NHS discharge people as soon as possible because they are overloaded. I have paid £6.35 per month over many years for this policy, which has turned out to be useless. I know it is not a great sum of money, but when it is not helpful it is wasted money. My injuries may stop me working in my job. Particularly the fracture to my back bone. That didn't seem to matter either. Very disappointed.

I am really furious at reading the negative comments from people that have had no particular reason to moan other than the fact that they have had a DD taken from their banks and not been aware why ....

Well i will tell you why, it was probably given to yous for free when you took out car insurance or similar as with myself.

I studied the policy and decided you know what this IS worth £4pm.

And you know what, low and behold i had an accident.

And my point is Avon and all the staff were fantastic, sorted my claim in No time with compassion care and understanding, were constantly in touch with updates,and paid my claim in full as described in the policy document No hassle !!

WITHOUT DOUBT the best money i spend every month for my peace of mind for sure.

Took my money without telling me.I did not sign for this or know. After reading what it is you would never knowingly take this insurance out. Total sham please be careful.
