After checking with both Defaqto and this review site, and following hours of painful web page filling and call centre trauma, I contacted Ecclesiastical. What a relief! The customer services person was professional, helpful and gave guidance when needed. He matched my policy perfectly with my needs. The price is not the cheapest, but good value for money. I feel a huge degree of confidence with this company and feel in the hopefully unlikely event of making a claim, ,they will be just as helpful. Well done Ecclesiasstical. I made the call at around 10.15 on 17th September so Ecclesiastical can identify the customer services person and give him a pat on the back! Thank you

I chose Ecclesiastical as a result of a ludicrous premium rise proposed by the AA, and ended up with a better policy for much less money. Within two months, my student daughter had her laptop stolen from her flat by a thief who smashed a window and reached though the bars. This event was covered by my contents policy, and I had a cheque from Ecclesiastical within 8 days. And they told me one claim won't hurt my premium. They are easy to do business with, and they get my vote.
