Avoid At All Costs!!

Disgusting company! 90% of reviews are ONE STAR which speaks volumes!! We made a formal complaint on Monday 4th December and they were supposed to acknowledge this (according to the ombudsman) within 7 days. No communication from them

whatsoever and they continue to try and wriggle out of a genuine escape of water claim, blaming non existent "seals" around a bath! Wish we'd thought to check Trust Pilot before insuring with them. I see through experience how they justify their ONE star, and believe me, if I could have given 0, I would have! "seamless service" department - should be “shameless service” refuses to listen to any evidence we have provided, but instead keeps relying on a video from their trace and access company which doesn't even show the source of water - for all we know they were pouring water from a jug!! We will be pursuing this through the ombudsman / solicitors. LLOYDS BANK INSURANCE ARE A VERY  UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY.

Potential customers, you have been warned!!!

Home Insurance Claim

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY. STAY AWAY

Insured with Lloyds for 16 years. First claim rejected as they have tried everything for two years not to pay for damage to my patio caused by water from a neighbour and finally said they needed a picture of the patio before the damage!!!! Do not go near this company, usual insurance company told my wife that we had a policy that covered everything (don't believe a word they tell you). The person that dealt with my claim was totally incompetent and basically called me a LIAR.

Stay Away!! Claimants Honesty Penalised

December 6th 2021 LLOYDS EMERGENCY COVER

Heating and hot water failed on Friday. Thought we cd sort it ourselves with a new part (husband is a handy engineer). It didn’t. Of course no electricians etc available over weekend. So the house got progressively colder and we relied on neighbours for showers. We remembered on Monday morning that we had cover so I phoned and was honest about when heating etc failed. Because I hadn’t revised the terms and conditions and told them it had failed on Friday (and not lied about the timing as many would, I’m

sure) I was told immediately that we were not covered as it was over 48 hours since the failure. No humanity, no flexibility, no loyalty to long term customers. A completely brilliant example of why insurance companies are not the most popular kid on the business block. Appalling service. Get your house in order Lloyds.  Hampshire.

Stay Miles Away Away Away

Stay away from this home insurance when it happens you have a claim there is no way to get anything back even with ironclad evidence through photographs showing clear evidence of damage and recorded bad weather conditions. They will always find an excuse that is not their responsibility or else. You will be paying for nothing, i incurred serious damage to the roof of the conservatory due to bad weather conditions and have to pay for all repairs by myself. Furthermore, the customer service is terrible, the staff is incompetent, unpleasant, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this insurance policy to my worst enemy.

Read The Small Print

Accidental damage claim to iPad thrown out on the basis that I had not specified value because it was deemed a high risk item.

So watch out for TVs and jewelry etc. they won't pay out if you have not specified their value.

Emergency Plumbing

My claim was only partially approved for Plumbing. The plumber was going to come back on the original claim but did not. I then called and chased them 24 times over a 6 day period re CCTV and Jet water blasting of my main soil pipe as I understand they would honour the first £1000 of any claim. Not so. They eventually called back and said I must pay £370 or try my Buildings Policy with Lloyds. I refused and got my own engineer and sent them the bill to their Newport Customer Services Office making a claim under my main Building Policy. Will I get a reply and refund--maybe. Not impressed on this occasion with what was a very serious emergency.

Terrible

Had both home and car insurance with them

somebody hit parked car and then the house. Had to make numerous calls and still waiting for anything to be done

This was not the cheapest insurance company but definitely the customer service is one of the worst

Don't Bother Its A Joke

I had content insurance for near three years, I ended up losing my wallet which had just over £600 pound in it. Now the company said they would cover me up to £500 pound which I excepted, So they called me back the following day saying the wallet I had it in they needed to see the reciept for it, Which I applied to I have not got the receipt but what I could provide them with is a bank statement, But it's not good enough, Its a joke I would never go with them I have spent so much over the years well over £600 pounds worth,DONT BOTHER GOING WITH THEM END OFF!!!!!!
