Easy and cheap to book online....unfortunately just sent you straight to their underwriter for a claim when it counts who won’t pay out for a booking that was cancelled due to COVID. You’ve had two annual European policies from me but you won’t be getting another! I will take my business elsewhere and will not be recommending your services to any fellow expats living in London from now on.

As an ex-pat, finding travel insurance in English is not easy, but Gobelink offered us good cover at a realustic premium for our holiday to USA in November/December 2017. I contracted a very nasty throat infection on the penultimate day, which necessitated making a claim. Throughout the claim process - including a courtesy call to check progress of obtaining a physician - the staff were friendly and efficient. The astonishingly high cost of the doctor's visit and medication was reimbursed in full within three weeks of submitting the claim documentation.

As a long term customer I am happy with the cover and also happy I have never had to claim. It is good to now you are protected.

The no screen question gave me a problem. I had successful knee surgery in May but as it comes under the no screen section I had to call the no screen number. I was charged £14 for this to be given a screen code number. I feel this is wrong but did not want to be dishonest in saying I had not had any treatment or do some thing that would invalidate our cover.

Competitively priced for ex pat cover and gives useful enhancements with clear descriptions.

I unfortunately had to claim on a recent trip due to lost luggage and the process to claim was straightforward, the handler very helpful, compassionate and professional and the funds were transferred in impressive time.

I have now taken out an annual policy as I was so pleased with my initial experience, which speaks volumes!

The website it easy to navigate. The only recommendation I would suggest is perhaps to have the option to show how much more an annual policy would be if you are searching for a single trip rather than needing to start again.

Have now taken cover for 3 years. Never had a claim and hope this continues. As pensioners, living in Spain, finding adequate travel insurance is not easy. Spanish policies tend to have inadequate limits and UK policies do not repatriate to Spain. Only slight down is when renewing it can only be done 2 months in advance of renewal date but first holiday is booked a bit before this.

Not looking forward to when annual cover is not available due to age.

The quote said they had no suitable option for us...would have been helpful to say why age 60 and 66 travelling for 2 months????????

The Globelink site provides a range of travel insurance options for those over 65 living across the EU. Unlike its competitors whom I have investigated, Globelink readily accept that few travellers have reached an advanced age without incurring some health problem during their life to date and their underwriting terms accommodate such human frailty.

Accordingly, I am pleased to have renewed my cover with Globelink for the third year running and hope to have a good few years to continue doing so.
