Saw a lovely Tag Heuer watch in the window of their Bolton branch for £995. Went inside to try it on and was advised I needed to have a photo ID.

So I drove home, got my passport, went back to the shop and tried on the watch.

I loved it and agreed to purchase it.

Got to the till and was advised that they had displayed the wrong price and it was actually £2600.00 (big difference).

They wasted my whole afternoon.

Complained to head office and was advised they would sell me the watch for £2400 as a good will gesture.

I fail to see any good will in charging me £2400 for a watch which was priced at £995.

I wrote a complaint to their complaints team, as the advised then chased this after 4 weeks. They advised me their timescales are upto 8 weeks, so after 8 weeks I chased again and was advised there is nothing more they are prepared to do.

I will never deal with these people again and I would advise everyone else to avoid them.

I had really good experience in Feltham branch. She is always friendly and welcome, always there to help with the smile. Definitely will go back there and Recommend to friends.

Shocking place my hubby bought earing secondhand only weigh 2.1 grams they charged him 105.00 if they were 18ct but no its 17.35 per gram but they say they sell 33.75 a gram yeah maybe 18ct still doesn't work out my earing are only worth 40 pound. I took them back still in proper condition and the same way my partner bought them. As I knew straight away they weren't even worth the money. And my receipt states on receipt new gold you can't return but nothing about secondhand which mines where

In 2018 my items we're in the hammersmith king st store i was an in patient at the time the so called manager took my money for my jewellery but he'd taken my items for self gain i wasnt offered no compensation no appollergie no good will gesture i lost an item that my at the time recently departed mother had given to me she had it made bespoke. I received not a whisper of what truly had happened to my items a solicitor friend of mine said that a crime was committed and i should've called the police.

Don't trust this company!!

They have sold 6 items of jewellery to an auction

On 6 different contracts and 6 different items ranging from £100 to £400 all items were sold in auction.

The fishy thing is all 6 different contracts ended being £10.26 in deificiet.

That's like winings the lottery.

What are the chances of all 6 items sold at different prices leaves £10.26 in deificiet.

I made a complaint to h&t and asked to see the statements off goods that were sold to prove they haven't messed about with the figures.

I was told by a manager that he will need about 1 week or 2 to gather the statements together from auction.

The funny thing 1 month later I get a final response letter from h&t saying we are not obliged to show you proof of sale of your goods.

Now work it out for yourself

I say this company is messing about with figures and blatantly robbing me and probably loads more customers.

I'm starting court action I'm bypassing the ombudsman going for cutthroat straight away.

My advice is stay away from h&t as there unfair and not straight.

I came into difficulty and pawned my goods and couldn't afford to pay back in time.

But this doesn't give h&t the right to give me made up paper work showing under sold jewellery.

This is corrupt and I will go through every possible way to expose this to the public.

I went into the Ilford branch of H&T ,today to pawn my partner's dad's gold cufflinks. I was quoted a reasonable price to pawn by the lady and my partner was happy with the price , as I was . She was very pleasant and professional and explained everything clearly. Many thanks.

I went in fir a price on 100 peaces of jewellery priced 6.50 to 16 quid all brand new with prices on from brain dead manger said .10p each told him he needed a brain transplant ( sold them to some else for 1.15 each ) today he started messing me about with 400 quid moutin bike , I told him to stick it he is 100% brain dead ( avoid he doesn't gave a clue) plus I will put manners in him or something he said when I was walking out

Been a customer with H&T since 2016. My credit score was low and was accepted for a loan which I paid off in 2017. I took out another loan in November 2017 of £1200 total to repay back was £2901 and I have £900 left to pay. Since July 2018 to Dec 2018 each time I applied for another loan and clear the existing loan I’ve been declined. Could not understand why when payments get paid on time and credit score is much higher. I don’t want to apply again Incase I get declined. My credit score is so much better than 2016/2017. Payments paid on time and look how much I’ve paid off from the balance £2901 when the loan was £1200. H&T should take into account on how much I’ve paid and promptly and explanation why I’ve been declined since July 2018 to Dec 2018. Very unhappy existing customer

READING OXFORD RD/MALL H&T STORE. RAY H.

SEPT applied for loan in store.Took 2 hours collating all relevant

paper work from bank, and print outs from library ect.

After completion in the shop told I would be contacted.Shop called, declined.Shortly after,

call from London,due to a returned direct debit try again in 30 days.

Told apart from that everything else was fine,and rating is good.

Returned Mon 16/10 a.m. same procedure, repeat as before, all statements intact and no issues.Shop again told me they would contact me shortly.

London calls again,looking through paperwork maybe another issue,but

continuing to look at paperwork.

Today is Wed 18/10 and neither shop or London have had the courtesy to inform me if I have wasted my time again.

Monthly income £2,750 all relevant id's and paper work intact.

I am sure I will get satisfaction elsewhere,and of course good customer service would be very nice.
