Clydesdale Bank Personal Loans

I have a current account with this bank ,wages get paid in to this account,i rang asked for overdraft guy kept putting me on hold ....asking his manager every question ! Asked what o/d was for explained im a lorry driver and new cpc course kicked in sept 2014 havnt done it ,cost around £500 he says ill call you back between 3pm and 5pm today ok 2 days pass still no call ,emailed customer service complained service was ridiculous ,called again ...no joy ...then declined my o/d few wks pass ,gets another call , believe you widh to apply for an overdraft ....yes ???? I applied weeks ago bad service oh ill check this out see what we can do ......i said you already declined it ...when ? Ill try see anyway ...then she says aaah yes so you did ??? I asked why it was declined i dont have any loans o/d nothing outstanding with my account ...oh its because you had 2 bank charges back in summer???? Oh i was charged for confusing direct debit mix up dates....and clydesdale charged me when wages went in ....yes ...so i paid them almost immediately ...yes ....and thats reason you cant give me overdraft lol are they kidding ? I paid them charges and they hold it against me for making money off me lol !!!! What a bunch of bankers these are ??? As forvthe girl thst rang me after weeks offering overdraft ....her attitude was ridiculous spoke down to me as if i was a dirt her tone of voice made me want to poke my fingers through the phone !!! ... but i told her i was ending the call as i didnt like her attitude so theres clydesdale country and western bank .....full of ignorant staff ......

noticed that Clydesdale had some very good advertised rates so I decided to apply to compare against the rate that another lender approved me for, anyway, cut a long story short I applied online, was accepted at the advertised rate. The online application is very easy, the ability to download documents Via online portal or have them send to you directly via snail mail.

I downloaded, signed and returned via Freepost address along with supporting information, for me this could lnot have been any easier.

Overall, very impressed.

They will advertise a very low rate and lure you into applying. After putting a nice big dent on your credit rating they will most likely either a) Refuse you for vague reasons b) Give you an APR rate that is nearly twice that advertised.

The vague reasons mentioned could include "oh its because you are not a customer of our bank". So if you are not a customer of the bank, why dont they say the "non-customers of the bank are NOT allowed to apply for loans and will be most likely refused". They just want to get their name out there.

I have applied for personal loan and checked my credit score on experian-999 which is excellent.I am also a professional earning 35,000-40000 pounds a year.

Called the customer service, said that they only use the experian credit scoring.

Hence I was very confident that I will get good interset rate, You know what I got a quote for 12.8% much worser that any ... hole bank.

Please....Do not fall on this .... hole bank.

I applied for £10,000 loan after seeing the 5.1% APR. After processing the application, they approved for 11.5% APR! they are scammers and just want to ruin your credit file to get their "name" out.

Ignore these clown and dont bother.
