Try Santander!

Got divorced 5 years ago, needed £5000 to clear joint debt, the advisor was very sympathetic, and convinced me I would get the best Lloyds deal! not being in the healthiest frame of mind the deal was done. NOTE: 23% INTEREST. 1 depressing week later I get a letter addressed to me "get a loan with Lloyds £5000 at 12% INTEREST rate%. off I went to Lloyds "please can you look at this and adjust my deal? After much protest and numerous letters, the bank did not budge! I got BANK robbed'...

Truly Bad Bank

My experience is similar to others on here. Lloyds Bank is very slick, they talk the talk. The online banking facility is excellent. However, that is it. The products are very expensive, the customer service is awful. The biggest problems we had were: lack of understanding of real world situations; and, no flexibility on lending (except on one occassion, offered at a ridiculously high cost). We have a reasonably good credit history (occassional late payments, but no defaults, etc.) and are property owners. After being stuck with this bank for nearly 10 years, due to financial commitments, we are SO happy to have finally left! We have moved to one of the new banks, which has a different way of working.

Terrible service from customer call centre- they want you to buy protection insurance, otherwise the loan gets referred - would recommend you look elsewhere and we've banked with them for 35years

another bad point is if you use your debit card and pay say £1000 towards your loan it is updated on your file within 12 hours at a LLOYDS TSB branch yet if you phone the administration company it takes days as they don't take it as cleared funds!! it makes a difference to the interest and also suggests that they are holding money on account rather than crediting it.

LLoyds TSB need to take back and manage the company themselves

Lloyds Tsb Loans Are Fair. The Money Is Quick Into

Lloyds TSB loans are fair. The money is quick into your bank account. The only thing I don't like is the high interest rate and I have found it is harder to up your loan at a later date.

I have paid off my Lloyds loan with inheritance, I got a settlement figure from my online banking, it was taken from my current account straight away, now it shows I am £650 in credit. What will happen to that money?
