Nat Waste Bank
I went in to nat waste bank in sittingebourne, sitting there for half an hour then this lump of lard came out and called me in,he said I could have the loan as long as I got my accounts from my accountant, which I received after 3 days,I took them back to the lump of lard, then he said I needed sa302 form for the last 3 years tax income,so another call to my accountant, who by this time was getting fed up with me.the forms came 4 days latter,so another trip to the lump of lard,he said I could have £7500 loan over 10 years or remortgage, which I didn't want to do because I own my house,so decided I would go for 10 year loan,I asked him why I couldn't have it for 4 years he said computer said no it had to be 10 years, and then he put it all in and the computer said no.i own my house have no debt and nat west declined me waste of time

Misrepresentation In Loan Offers
I have been a Natwest customer for 10 years +, no debt trouble, credit rating is good. Researched for a £8000 loan over 48 months on comparison sites Natwest weren't the cheapest but as they were my bank I thought I would probably get the money quicker using them. The website stated a 4.6% rate for existing Natwest customers only, Brilliant....or so I thought...
I spent an hour going throught the application online, losing the webpage half way through and having to start again which didn't impress me, this is no fault of Natwest mind you. Anyway got most of the way through the application and reached the review page and it suddenly appeared with a completely different interest rate and monthly payments (much much higher), I went back to make sure I hadn't clicked onto the wrong offer, I started the whole application again thinking I had made a mistake but no,the review page said the same thing again.I telephoned Natwest who in turn said yes the review page was correct and and this was the offer given to me even as an existing customer...I obviously told them this is not how it is written on the webpage but the lady on the phone said this only applys to some customers...so I obviously said NO THANKS!!!! Who are these 'some customers??' They could see from my bank accounts I hardly ever go overdrawn, don't owe any money and have a regular good wage coming in and have some savings but they only offered me the higher rate...
I wonder if it is a dangling carrot situation where you think oh well I've done the application now I might aswell carry on with it and pay a higher rate. Mmmmmm If this is the case then I think this is a very untrustworthy hand to play.
well that so strange I am a NatWest customer or was and I took out a loan but in December 2013 they had advertised a promotional rate of 4.6% to a NatWest customer if you take out a loan from £7500 to £ 14099 I have complained to fos re this as they said I have a 1% deduction been an avg account holder mm seems there is a bit of a rip off
Terrible No Words To Describe It
I applied for a loan and expected to wait a week tops to receive it after waiting two weeks they then said that they needed more info I.e pay slips so I took them down to my local branch to get faxed over and still hadn't heard anything on the third week they then asked for more info and by this time I just gave up and told them that I no longer wanted the loan and that they can stick it were the sun doesn't shine !

Never Again, Stay Away!!
Applied for a loan, agreed in principle through my online banking. Have banked with NatWest for over 20 Years. Salary goes through my main NatWest account. Underwriting wanted to know a full breakdown of the loan, where every penny of the money is going to. They also wanted to see copies (originals) of my pay slips, credit card statements (3 months of each and every card I currently have!), and wanted my self assessment tax returns, all for £7.5k over 42 Months! What a joke! Complaints are a useless bunch of tards who care for nothing and their attitude is you either send the documents in and they might accept it, or go elsewhere and suffer!
Natwest Top Up Loan
i have been a natwest customer for 7 plus years & took a loan out couple of years ago, i have asked on numerous occasions to get a top up for around £3,000 & denied each & everytime & the response i get is 'its out with their control'. however they were quick enough to accept me for a credit card, how does that figure?? dont waste your time to get a top up people, you are better off going elsewhere

I Originally Applied For The Loan With Natwest Jus
I originally applied for the loan with Natwest just out of curiosity as I have such terrible credit history and lo and behold I was accepted! I didnt really take it seriously as I didnt think with I'd ever get a loan and when I got sent the forms and took them into the branch with some ID they asked me if I'd like the money put into my account now!
Of course I said yes and within 2 hours I had £1000 sitting in my account.
I really have terrible credit history! I am in several thousand pounds debt and i have no credit score what so ever, although I have had my salary paid into my natwest account for the last 6 months and I've gone from having a very basic account with a solo card to a gold account with a £200 overdraft and a £1000 loan.
Am very impressed with this bank and I shall continue to keep my wages paid here in order to keep up the good relationship with them.
Highly recommended!
Huh!
Just wait until something goes wrong - and you have to go through their super-bad complaints handling service.

Fast Easy Money But Comes With Massive Penalties A
fast easy money but comes with massive penalties and early redemption charges- example£20,000 pound loan over 3 yrs - if redeemed at 10 months - end up paying almost £10,000
Q&A
I applied online and they said they will post the contract through the post. What is the likelyhood that I will get this loan? I have poor credit.
