No Quality!
Reading brunch! So agent assume that previous tenants did not know how to use central heating (well as he), so is fair to not maintenance it (just switch it on) and be sure that property is in right condition for tenants and landlord. As he said I’m not engineer. He inform us that everything is fine it’s just tenants can’t set it. People who live in that flat before was an older couple with poor English so they betrayed their trust. Now we 3th months during winter without help from them carrying the radiator from room to room. Unprofessional low quality sad stain on company opinion. In contract you got duty to maintenance the garden and take responsibility for all equipment which they do not check.
Literally guy talk so blunt that in any other case.

Century 21 is the worst letting agent, I have ever used as a tenant! I rented a property with Century 21 for 6 months, Century 21 are awful. They have no management skills and no communications skills. This must be worst agency ever. They tell you lies, once money is taken, the truth starts to come out. Continuous problem in flat that takes ages to get fixed (if lucky). Really disappointed with the agency. Staff clueless and lack appropriate knowledge. Please avoid at all cost. They rent out properties with all appliances advertise, but when I moved in to identify that its faulty they decline to repair. NO Help At All from Them.

This is the second time I have used them and the service was great, weekly reports, I was told what was happening when was happening and they were true to their word. I would use them again no problem. Though I can only vouch for the office in Scotland.

They Live Off Your Deposits!
I put down a holding deposit and they asked me for truckloads of info which i sent and then finally after a week they decide that my annual income is insufficient and instead of refunding my deposit, they deducted it saying that they have logged all my info and the cost incurred balances off! I have contacted the property ombudsman with regards to this and am pretty sure i will get my full deposit back including a compensation award as they have not referenced us at all and had not even contacted the landlord with regards to my offer. Very unprofessional and the trainees mess things up so bad, This one is a franchise so i will be writting to the heads to complain about how they are ruining the name too. Steer Clear people! Use others and never this!!!

I Deal With The Century 21 Branch At Walthamstow I
I deal with the Century 21 branch at Walthamstow in London. I have called literally hundred times to send somebody to fix the boiler as it did not responded to the timer/controller and the heating has to be on 24/7 , the respond from the agency was just pathetic- each day there were just promising somebody will come or we are waiting for the new boiler , or a wrong boiler was delivered , or there is no parts for the old boiler, just thousand of excuses and at the end nothing happened so I have had my heating on 24/7 since November 2008 till March 2009 (but as the boiler is really old it does not manage to be on 24/7 so it did not really use so much gas therefore I left this issue like this). Today the boiler finally broke down totally and we will see if the agency will do something (I doubt) so am sending them a fax saying that if this matter is not sorted out within 72 hours I will bring somebody and deduct from my rent whatever he charge me .
Because of the way the agency treated me ( I pay my rent by direct debit each month even before time,so they have nothing to complain about)I decided to leave the property.
Last year I did not have the heating for 5 days ,even though calling the agency 2-3 times per day and had to even contact their handyman and insist on him to come asap....

The application is on sit and attach all your documentation and they will do the rest. they can also help you claim compensation for suffering.
