I cannot fault the superb service that ‘ Home’ always offer. As regular buyers and sellers of properties in Leigh they are our go to agent when ever we are ready to market our properties.

The whole team get involved, from taking superb photos for marketing, to the sales team organising viewings to the sales progression team ensuring that sales go through with the least amount of stress possible.

Any agent can put a property on Rightmove but only great ones can sell and progress the sale from beginning to end. At the moment the market is uncertain and this is when you need an experienced agent that are willing to put in the work to sell your property at the price you want. I would have absolutely no problem recommending them to anyone, in fact I recommend them all the time to friends and family and would not use any other Leigh agent to sell my Home.

We saw a house in our home town which we wanted to buy. It was on with three estate agents and we chose to put an offer in with Home Estate Agent, because they appeared to have a professional image and were new to the area.

Our offer was accepted subject to contract. Home Estate Agent were not very communicative and would leave us waiting for long periods for responses to questions and issues. The structural survey on the property brought up some significant issues, which we had to investigate further. We asked Home Estate Agent if the vendor was willing to deduct the cost of the necessary significant repairs to the property from the asking price.

We were told by the agent they would come back to us. The agent did not bother to come back to us, infact, when we went back to them to chase it a few days later, they told us they had accepted a higher offer from another buyer.

The managers of the branch were extremely rude and unprofessional regarding the whole matter. They even attempted to blame us, claiming we reduced our asking price.

In short, Home Estate Agent promote unethical gazumping. If you are looking to buy a house in Leigh On Sea, avoid this agent. Home Estate Agent is NOT registered with the NAEA, so search for your property via a professional estate agent who is a member of the NAEA.
