I can only share negative experience about Ludlow Thompson and highly recommend to avoid them if you don`t want to find yourself in difficult situations because they are careless and have lack of proper knowledge and expertise regardless of their pretty website.

In the house where I live they rented a flat to a person who has been causing nuisance, damage, etc for long long months and the only thing this company did was referring to council and police, and pushed away any responsibility. Even lied to the landlord just to keep getting their percentage by having the tenant there. Totally unacceptable.

I wouldn`t allow a company like this to operate on the market!

After almost nine years as a tenant , having given us the property already dirty, old, with lots of damage, and rubbish.... when we left it: the use the ocasión to renew the furniture and charge is for it. They have invested CERO in maintaining the flat in the last 15 years, absolutely nothing .... but now we are gone the used our entire 6 weeks deposit in full to get new furniture for themselves. After spending cero and not asking for any improvements or repairs in this 9 years. Now they tricked us to rebut bush their own flat for free! Investing nothing in the property in the last 15 years.

Landlord and agency lied constantly , contradicting each other. Avoiding our calls, and not answering our emails. Received the moving out report 26 days after we left. Exceeding the legal time. And acuses eachother from holding our deposit!

They have done this tricks to take deposits TO EVERY SINGLE FRIEND I KNOW WHO IS WITH LUDLOW THOMSON.  DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY IF YOU WANT TO LIVE IN A PROPERLY MAINTAINED FLAT AND IF YOU WANT YOUR DEPOSITS BACK. They lie and act as thiefs. Been 15 years in uk: this is the worst experience I had with a agency by a big margin.

Literally just moved into a place using these guys. Wow they are useless.

One line emails. Don't answer calls. And then have the nerve to charge a fortune (£600).

If it wasn't for the fact our new home is beautiful, I would have long left them behind.

I have lived in a property managed by ludlow thompson for the last six years. This year, on renewal, the agent asked me to pay 360 pounds, and my wife to pay another 360 pounds for background checks. Ludlow Thomson was asking for this amount for reviewing me , despite my entire rental history being with them for the last six years, living in the same flat.

I would certainly not recommend Ludlow Thompson as an agent, as they are trying to unfairly squeeze tenants off their cash, rather than helping tenants.

Having moved house multiple times over my life, from a tenants point of view these guys are the worst of the worst, if you think martin and Co. are bad these guys take it to a whole new level

They always promise to get the rent from the tenant so the landlord can receive it on time and they use a bac system that could take up to 5 working days to get your money into your account, NEVER use them

Avoid like plague , expensive, and incompetent : potential land lord I used 2 nd time house simple , 1/10'of price and got much more suitable tenants ! They take want to fill your proprty with unsuitable tenants , grab fees and depart .....

cheaters, they cheat me 400 pounds just for fill a questionnaire, and told me that I was not able for rent one room for my low income.

I tried to deal it with the agents but they underestimate me , treat me like a number .

They cheat me 1/3 of my salary for tell me that I could not afford to pay an amount rent that I been paying for the last 3 years.

I just have one word, Cheaters.

I would like to thank the person in the Tootibg office for providing such a excellent service through the process. Unlike other the other agent we view with in the area he has been very accommodating, professional and always available when required. A very charming young man with a grate attitude. I strongly believe he's a grate asset to the company.

the person I dealt with  at the Dulwich branch was really lovely and proactive man. It was a pleasure to deal with him throughout the purchase of my flat. I highly recommend Ludlow Thompson when looking to purchase a property.
