Orange Lake Resort & Country Club Kissimmee

In 2010 with a promise of "wholesale tickets" and other goodies, my wife and I sat through 2 hours of hard core sales talk with 5 different sales persons working on us. I finally demanded to end the procedure and we were ushered to a counter to be able to order our tickets. The only ones available were for 2 days admission with a $5 per day reduction over retail! Enough said.

For what we paid to stay the Orange Lake Resort & Country Club is over priced, houskeeping was lacking, we asked for clean towels had to do own..NOT! Like I want to do that on my vacation!

We were extremly disappointed at this place for what we thought we were getting.. especially when we couldn't get fresh bathroom towel and told to do your own.. I have never been somewhere before on a VACATION and told to do own towels, and had to deal with a CSR rep to get tickets for our attractions that we paid for in advance even our golf tickets.

Need better staff with happier attitudes espeially if your customers are coming there to have fun and spend money!

The grounds were perfect for our kids. We played in the pools a lot, but they were very crowded. The room was very fair, but we paid a low price for it. We were in a one story unit. I would have liked to see the other/newer units! There were restaurants/shops/activities/game rooms right on the grounds.

We planned our spring break vacation, with our 6 year old daughter, at Orange Lake Resort & Country Club. We decided to try Orange Lake and were told our condo had a bedroom, living room, kitchen, balcony and bath. We looked at the unit on their web site, while on the phone with reservations, and booked it. When we got there they put us in a unit that had NO window looking outside (so obviously no balcony) and it was as dark as a cave. We were very specific on the phone. Luckily for us we got on the phone with Hilton Grand vacations, where we had stayed before, and they had a condo available. We lucked out that we were able to get into The Hilton as it was spring break and everything was booked. Orange Lake was full too and had nothing to move us in to.

We are very displeased with Orange Lakes. While it is quite a beautiful landscaped property beware of the sales end. If you visiting and not purchasing you should have a very nice time. If you purchase look on ebay 1st and take a trip to Sams Club for other information. Be wary of high pressure sales people that will entice you and then once you sign the papers your stuck. We would give ours away but no-one wants it. We now stuck with the maintenance costs each year.

We first visited Orange Lake Resort & Country Club in winter of 1999 and bought our first 2 bedroom golf villa and came back every year. We have since upgraded to a 3 bedroom 1700 sq ft sleeps 12. It is wonderful, watch Disney fireworks from our window and pool next to our unit. Best vacation ever and all 3 bedrooms have own bath and 19" TV's and nice 27" in living room.

Our three daughters were thrilled with the three tv's in the unit, their room was huge and they had their own private bathroom. We were thrilled with the privacy that our bedroom and bathroom provided. We couldn't have wished for better accomodation.

Be careful if you are young. Security will follow you everywhere you go and make your stay horrible.

Orange Lake Resort & Country Club is absolutly faultless with 7 beatifull swimming pools good range of restaurants excellent front of house staff overall top class establishment. However don't be fooled into accepting a $30.00 doller vouchers for going on a guided tour of time share apartements as the vouchers you can only use on site
