I took advantage of their 3-month offer of free advertising. Under the terms and conditions of their offer, they agree to send notice to advertisers of automatic renewal 10 days before charging. I received no such notice, and I was charged for a year. The company has been very slow to respond to my repeated requests for communication and a refund.

Please note: I have a very successful rental home in the South of France with loads of demand. I am fully booked for 2013 and am already booked for about half of 2014. I have had NOT ONE enquiry from my Alpha Holiday Lettings advert. I would not trust the reviews here as independent at all. I think Alpha Holiday Lettings is a shady business with bad practices and lack of integrity. Their business model is heavily weighted to take advantage of advertisers.

They have carefully combined the best of the information I gave them with innovative ideas and additions and handled elements of IT where I have no skills at all

I wish I could say I have had the same success in getting direct bookings through this company as other reviewers have had, but I have not. I rent out a small luxury holiday villa on the island of Kefalonia, Greece. Thanks to my advertisements on two other well known 'direct from owners' websites,I have had virtually full order books, including repeat bookings, both for this year (2012) and last year (2011) and so I know there is nothing wrong with my rental property. I am sorry to say that not a single booking in these years came through AlphaHoliday Lettings, although I also advertised through them throughout these years. I have given a three stars rating to give credit to AlphaHoliday Lettings for being (1)a technically excellent site, (2)very user friendly both for renters and owners (3)very reasonably priced for owners. However, 'the proof of the pudding is in the eating' and it is good results which count above all else. I am not aware how this company advertises itself to holiday makers, but I suspect there is too much reliance on Twitter and Facebook and the like, and not enough using conventional media, i.e. the UK Sunday broadsheets.

We have recently started advertising a large amount of our luxury property portfolio on alphaholidaylettings.com. We are already reaping the benefits from our adverts with a good level of enquiries. The team at Alpha Holiday Lettings are extremely helpful, especially Tom who helped to get our adverts up and running in no time. We would certainly recommend this website to other holiday home owners and hope that the level of enquiries continues into the future.

The Alpha Holiday Lettings web site is indeed extremely user friendly - I was able to cut and paste text with ease and the calendar input was the best I have ever used as was the rental price page.
