Buyer beware. I used these guys for interstate removals, the drivers were 3hrs late, stinking of alcohol and completely ruined the base of a king bed (suede) with their dirty hands. the broker I used, Best Price Interstate Removals, basically wiped his hands and stated that ruining furniture isn't covered by the insurance - need to buy additional insurance on top. Beyond that, I'm still yet to hear from the owner/manager at Dolphin. Not worth the cheaper rates that's for sure.

These guys were contractors of our American moving company from Baltimore, MD to France. Once our furniture arrived in Great Britain,

1) they asked us ADDITIONNAL FEES for "x-ray by port authorithies" without ever showing us any bill or receipt.

2) Then they STOCKED our furniture in Great Britain FOR MORE THAN 2 MONTHS to match it with another shippment to France...

Finally (and under the pressure of our initial American moving company) they delivered our furniture. But

3) the DELIVERY CREW WAS A JOKE (just a man and his wife unable to carry furniture). My husband got to help them.

4) THEY DIDN'T ASSEMBELED OUR FURNITURE even if it was on the initial agreement.

JUST AVOID THEM!! AND MAKE SURE YOUR INITIAL COMPANY DOESN'T USE THEM AS CONTRACTORS!

I just wanted to follow up in regards to our shipment- we have been really pleased with your service and we appreciate a lot how you dealt with our circumstances. Also, the movers that came and delivered our things were excellent, very nice people. So this is essentially a thank you!

i wanted to send some personal items to Cyprus.i found this company on the internet/local papers .i needed my items in Cyprus asap so first thing i asked was..when do you think they will be in Cyprus??.they told me they have their own lorries making regular trips to Cyprus and will be there in about a week..true to their word my goods arrived in Cyprus all in one piece and on time...my first experience with this company has been a good one so i definitely recommend them

I would like to use the opportunity to thank Dolphin for a perfect job. The surveyor was helpful and never pushy at any time. I asked for quotes but not every company sends out people to provide an estimate. However, I did not want to trust giving the 4 bedroom move a company that was not willing to send out a rep. In comparison, they Dolphin were not the cheapest but understood our requirement well especially where we needed to store our belongings for three weeks while we finished our renovation. On the move day, everything went according to plan. The crew was polite and professional all the time. Even though our move was requested on a short notice, nevertheless, the service provided was very good and the charge very reasonable. Dolphin were recommended to me by our estate agent and I would not hesitate recommending them!!

I had found Dolphin Movers advert on a local paper and already heard from others they specialise in moves to North Cyprus. At first they seemed a bit pricey and on the expensive side, but the gentleman I spoke with seemed to know all the procedures needed so something told me to go with them. I was told it would take 6 weeks to deliver my goods, and they were transported safely abroad within the time given. The boys that came to pack my stuff were friendly and very helpful. All I have to say really is that every penny I paid was worth the service I received, my calls and emails were answered straight away and everyone seems extremely helpful in the office. I was so impressed with the fact my goods were received in near perfect condition. So thank you Dolphin Movers.

Still waiting for my goods to arrive and now been given an unexpected additional fee brier they will deliver to my door. So not respond to emails. Goods delayed by 3 months and counting.. I wish I had beer come across this firm, they should be struck off as a company. They are nothing more than a sham.

I advise you never to use Dolphin Movers if you are looking for a logistic or a transport company.

They take your money, get you sign a contract (which says it is an estimated contract) and they do not deliver the goods.

A final quotation which was around £2,000, became £6,000 in three weeks. Dolphin said if you do not pay, there will be further customs and port and warehousing charges.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

wrong quote, only partly delivery, asked for additional payment (nearly 100% add on) otherwise no delivery of the rest, no reimbursement from the insurance company for our damaged goods!
