Avoid Like The Plague !!!!

Lockupgarages.co.uk which are the website for Dudrich holdings which are an agent for a much larger company, are really a couple most likely doing this as a side line to their full time jobs. I know their names as all payments go to their personal bank joint bank account, which should have set alarm bells ringing as I’m believe it is illegal to use a personal account for business payments. But as I came to find out all they care about is money and receiving payments.

First garage I leased leaked water straight away and damaged a lot of my property with promises of compensation that never came.

Moved to a second garage which I was told was located in a safe area to then find it broken into within two weeks.

Then they carried out work to the area outside but didn’t inform any of their garage tenants so couldn’t access the garage for a month but they still wanted payment to which I refused and they eventually backed down. Next I find the work carried out caused water to again leak into this garage.

Months of emails and calls taking weeks for them to reply each time concluded with them making excuse after excuse. Finally after originally saying they would speak to the owner but them not actually doing it, their final response was for me personally to take it up with the contractor that THEY employed !!!

The final straw was when they said they needed access to carry out a third attempt at stopping the leak, but didn’t contact me with date and instead decided to break into the garage by cutting off my own padlock, which I only added on their recommendation after they added additional latch after the break in two weeks after starting the lease!!! Their eventual reply after weeks of trying to speak to them was that they can force entry to the garage for maintenance whenever they feel like. Even though every other time they have contacted me to be present and give access.

Please take this as a warning to avoid them like the plague. They have caused me nothing but stress and headaches from day one as well as costing me a large amount of money from water damaged property and the theft of property from break in.

They do not care about anything other than being paid. You have been warned !!

Shocking Service!

I have been renting a garage for only a few months when the door was having problems, so contacted someone straight away who said they'd send someone out...almost a month later after calling and emails Im yet to hear back from anyone....This is just terrible service surely it wouldn't take much for someone to get back to me.But all i get is silence!

Thanks For Damaging My Car

Rented form them for 10 years and never impressed but little choice as they seem to have a monopoly. Calls rarley returned and emails took many days or weeks to get a response.

Garages I have rented in my opinion have been in a shoddy state of repair with damaged doors, leaking roofs, flooding and not very airtight.

The poor service came to a head when in April they accessed my garage via a contactor without making me aware to replace the roof and my car was damaged in the process. This was reported to them in on at the end of October and 3 months later the refuse to cover my costs for the repair of the vehicle. As you can imagine bricks falling on it and cement are not great things to drop on a classic car !

I would strongly sugest anyone avoids them as they are quite unhelpful and very slow to get back to you on anyhting if they even do respond.

Unexpected Price Increase

What looked like a good price on a lock up garage from Dudrich Holdings Ltd turned out to be misleading. I was quoted a price per week on the phone but on site I was offered a different garage but not told that it would be 33% more expensive.

When I objected to the price hike I was told my only option was to pay a £50 administration fee if I wanted to walk away from the Contract.
