Online Gold Thieves!!!
It's been over 3 weeks now since I sent my gold to the London Gold Refinery. I've emailed, telephoned etc. without success.
Stupidly, I didn't delve enough into the firms reputation before popping my gold chains into their very professionally presented addressed bag and posting them to them ...........never to hear from them again! What a mug am I!! They don't even have to break into your house to steal from you, they just send you an envelope and get you to do the dirty work!!!
I am going to the police tomorrow to see what I can do.

I would strongly advise everyone not to use this site.
Do not part with your valuables.
If you want them back it will cost you as they will not insure return free of charge as stated in their gold pack.
They are misleading people.
Luckily I kept contacting them and eventually got my valuables back after two weeks. Don't bother to try phoning!
After nearly 6 weeks of worry and stress I received the money ,,,, I will not be using them again! Everyone should avoid too!
Theaten them with the small claims court, check out how to do it online, its easy. I did this and they paid up. Good luck
I have just made the worst mistake ever by sending them my last gold chain worth any value, without reading any reviews. I have now been waiting over a month for my money or my chain which I have demanded back.
I am stuck now as to what is my next move in recovering my Jewellery and I am beginning to panic.

very dissapointing to be caught out by these scamming people . The documents all look good when you get them but as soon as I called to chase up my money i knew i had been had , you just can't get to speak to anyone. They do respond back to emails but only to fob you off. I am so dissapointed in myself for not lookign for the reviews , i was taken in by the fact they were at the top of the list for gold buyers, it's an expensive lesson learned. A large number of people must be sending this company gold and they have to be making a fortune at our expense . I have reported this to the police and watch dog

sent my bag of gold off in Special Delivery bag supplied by them, received a very quick offer from them the next day which I accepted (March 28th)

I have not had any replies to emails and cannot get through on the phone. I was made an offer over 4 weeks ago and have heard nothing since being promised the finance department were processing the payment!
I sent them a letter by special delivery stating that I would be starting legal precedings against them if I didn't get my money in 48 hours... they paid up at the last minute....

Having posted my gold and receiving an offer that I rejected , we then reached and agreed amount on 27/03 I was emailed by NIC , who said my money will be in my account within 24 hours ! Ha what a lot of bull.....One week later after emails daily. Leaving voice mags on their "phone line" more like a black hole .....
I have complained to the advertising stds as the website is a lie , I will be laying a charge after work today of theft against this company .
I will also be contacting the local newspaper of their home town Manchester and getting them involved . Nothing like home truths coming out
Tempted to get a train to Salford and collecting my money in person ..... £88.00 return ticket to get rid of this stress "worth it "

Email daily demand your money or gold back ! I got paid today 13 days late! I am not leaving it here ! The stress alone had me Ill . They will answer to me !!!

they were fast sending me the gold pack , fast coming back to me with an offer .and that is where it fell apart
the made an offer via email 27/03 9.23AM , I accepted via email 27/03 @ 9.25AM I was then advised my payment will be in my bank 24 hours.
Today is 31/03 and still not in my bank. tried to email _ no reply - tried to call on the number on the website automated to leave a voice mail message press # or press 1 for operator then you get "voice mail disabled"
tomorrow 01/04/15 at 09h00 I will proceed to open a case of THEFT against this company if my money is NOT paid into my account

I am in the same boat but was not sure what to do about this , I have had no payment since the end of March and constant excuses on email . This is a scheme that must be making these people a massive amount of money . Because i have seen from the comments this is a Manchester company I have lodged a complaint with them . I have given them your crime reference number .

I wish I had found this website and read your reviews sooner.
I have also sent this company a bag of gold on March 27th..accepted their very speedy offer on the 28th March of £840 and am still waiting for my money..just like the other victims, I have emailed and phoned but get no answer.
So I have done like you and logged a complaint with action fraud.
Lets hope the police have more luck than we did.

Avoid At All Cost!
Having accepted the offer made for a few items, told will have money paid into my account within 24hrs. Here i am 4 days in, NOTHING!
As with many things in life, act in haste, repent in leisure comes to mind.
The best advice i can give. Take time to fined a local jeweller or refinery that you can deal with face to face. It may take a little more time, but at least it is better than being ripped off by people like this!

I acumalated a decent 37 g of pure gold melted down from swiss bullion bars after sending the item off after being quoted over £900 the first email I was offered £812 because they said it wasnt pure which I refused only for a few days later be offered £870 I declined again I did speak to a member of staff while the testing was being done but since ive refused their offer each time I call its passed on to an answer machine now am left to fund to have the gold sent back if I do receive it very poor service as the card which the special delivery packing came in states if your unhappy with the offer we will return your items no questions asked I have a question why does it cost the customer to have their gold returned hopefully I will get my gold back be honest when it comes to valuations answer your phone when it rings and post items back if the customer declines your silly offers
