Poor Works Carried Out

We had a focus for 2 years, never missed any payments

We then gave it back and purchased a larger vehicle as family had grown

After 5 days there was a loud, whining noise from o/s front, we got car to garage, it was wheel bearings, which ccf paid for 3 days after work was done.

4 days after this, there was heavy rain and drivers footwell had over an inch of water in it.

Driver collected car at 5:15 am on a Thursday and did not get car back until the following Monday

The footwell is so damp and smell is atrocious

No apologies from company

No reimbursement for inconvenience

Very unhappy and wish I'd not opted for another 3 years finance

Conmen

This company took £100 deposit from me for a car they didn't actually have then after 3 weeks once they had found a car the same colour as the pictures they had sent to me I travelled over 200 miles to view the car. The car had bits of trim missing inside and out as was no way ready to be sold, if it was in fact road worthy. Over a year later I still don't have my deposit back. AND I WAS AN EXISTING CUSTOMER PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESES CONMEN

If You Need A Car Ring Mitchell

Right where to begin! Let's start of with Fantastic - saying that lets make it exceptionally brilliant.

Well I started of looking for cars and due to past credit I wasn't able to obtain a car credit, I then came across credit car sales aka c4c and thought I would try my luck; to my belief after applying and a quick reply I was accepted. I was in shock but over the moon.

I had a sales rep named Mitchell, who fast, reliable, excellent and professional, I couldn't of ask for anything better! Mitchell took me through step by step, was helpful with every question and query I had.

At first the car I wanted had a slight electrical fault meaning it had to be taken down from the sale shelf; and Mitchell rang to inform me almost immediately, there you would think oh no! Now what am I going to do! But Mitchell had a look around and found me another car again immediately within my budget and time frame I needed a car!

He also managed to get me the deposit at an affordable rate, he was direct and professional through the entire process; constantly updating me on what was going on, and was even available to help after office hours, an even offered to stay back at work after hours when needed!

To wrap this up I would like to say thanks to Mitchell for all the help, I am very impressed with the car and will not hesitate to recommend a friend. Only wish I could of met him when I picked the car up to shake his hand and say thanks personally! If anyone ever needs a car from this company when you ring ask for Mitchell top fella! Thanks!

Sales Rep Michell Was Fab!!!

After having issue with a previous car on finance costing me a fortune on a new turbo only after 9 months of having the car, having missing a few payments to compensate paying for the turbo (4k at BMW) my credit rating got heavily affected.

Having to hand the car back due to a pay cut with a new employment I thought it would be near impossible to get credit again for a long time. Then Car Credit Sales came to my rescue! Maybe a little over priced however, beggars can't be choosers.

Having applied through their website I honestly didn't think I would be successful, how wrong was I. I dealt with a fab sales person by the name of Mitchell who guided me through every step of the process.

After paying an initial deposit, I had to pull out as I was offered a new role with a company car, after some thought I decided not to take the role, I spoke to Mitchell and explained thie situation and to my belief I was able to transfer my deposit that I thought I lost on to another car.... Fantastic!!, I chose a great car with no annual tax ( I got lucky as their cars are being snapped up, snooze you lose! ).

I liased with Mitchell through the whole process right to the point where I collected the car, only regret was not meeting him to say thank you personally.

Be sure to check the car on collection as I found a few little issues later on but nothing to worry about.

Ask for Mitchell if you ever apply!! Top lad.

Ok ....but If You Can Get Mainstream Credit Use That !!!!

Having just come out of an IVA my options were quite limited to finding a company willing to let me get car finance , not because of not affording the payments but because my credit was ruined due to previous issues sadly making me go down the IVA route ... Anyway enough woe is me about that ...

I desperately needed to change my car as my old 17 year old jeep grand cherokee 4.0 petrol although fun to drive and look at was sadly costing me a small fortune in petrol ( 18-19 mpg ) and pretty much everything that could go wrong on the old beast did and then it failed the MOT , so I started looking at sub prime credit car financing companies and found that they are all pretty similar high APR , limited choice of cars etc etc , HUGE deposits so after a few days of looking I stumbled across credit 4 cars / credit car sales in essex ,

I looked on the website found a car that actually seemed pretty good although probably £1500 overpriced but I wanted another 4x4 and it needed to be automatic and this was 10 years newer than my old car I filled in an online application and I think by default got accepted then 20 minutes later got a all from a nice enough sales guy who gave some some figures and bearing it mind they deal with bad credit the deposit was pretty low £400 in my case and the figures added up but still an eye watering 62% APR which basically means I will pay for the car twice over in 3 years ... I decided that I will take a punt on the car as looking at sub prime market I was pretty limited I paid £100 deposit to take the car off sale with the remaining deposit to be paid upon collection I was then emailed a check list to send bank statements , wage slips etc etc after about 48 hours of phone calls to the finance department asking if I was hiding money in a Swiss bank account ....if I was I wouldn't be using a sub prime company they approved my application and then another staff member contacted me from the collections department

Now this bit was not explained n the website ... I thought I was picking the car up from essex I live in kent so not a big deal but the car I brought once prepared was actually in there Derbyshire branch and they kindly told me that it was going to cost £150 delivery charge on top of the deposit .... Not willing to pay even more I decided to collect from Derbyshire which worked with petrol and a train ticket about £60 and a day of travelling so something to be aware of .... The car itself is really nice no problems so I have no complaints

So to actually have point to this review ..yes they will lend to bad credit , yes the cars are overpriced , they fit your car with a tracker and immobiliser so if you fail to pay they disable your car ( so try not to do that) , they keep the spare key til you pay the balance

So taking all that into consideration if you can get a car loan normally go elsewhere however if you can afford the payments and are struggling to get credit then by all means give them a go ... Apparently you can upgrade your car after 18 months so I will see how that pans out ... I have owned this car now for 4 months apart from an issue getting the V5 which was the DVLAs fault as much as the car company it has been ok

Stay Clear Misleading

This company promise 100% that they will give you finance and even state as much in email.

Then they take a £100 pound deposit on a car.

After stating time and time again you have been excepted then get you to send wage slips and bank statements.

I could afford the finance and then only to be told they can't help you.

In my opinion they use deposit money they receive off people to buy cars which are all high mileage and usually a £1000 over priced even without all the costs of finance.

They are very friendly when taking you deposit and that all changes when you ask for your deposit back.

I still await my money back.

Not As Promised

I contacted these people as my credit score is in tatters after a difficult separation from my partner. I was promised fast, efficient service, and that I would be able to contact them any time.

They very quickly took my deposit, promising a quick turnaround. I emailed all the documents required, then it all went quiet. I couldn't get through on any of the telephone numbers and no-one replied to my email. When I eventually got through on the phone, I was put through to the 'relevant person', only to be greeted by a 'this mailbox is full' voice message.

I had to keep re-sending my documents, as they claimed they had not been received. I work on a computer and with emails on a daily basis. I'm confident that this was not a problem my end.

Then after three failed collection dates, I was eventually told that c4c were not in possession of the log book, so I could not have the car. This was several weeks after first being told the car would be available right away. I explained to the initial consultant that I have two young children, and the money isn't a problem, I just needed a car.

I now still get emails reminding me to send in the documents, have had no apology, or refund.

No Probs Here!

After reading the reviews of others on here I was very sceptical of ccs. I chose a car and paid my £100 deposit. Due to paperwork issues I then switched to a different car. Within 48 hours my car was delivered to me looking immaculate. You know that u are paying more for the car due to your credit score! If u don't like it don't sign up for it! I would say that Mitchell is the best person to speak to if u have any questions as he was always available.
