Pentagon Nissan Huddersfield Are Very Poor In All Areas
We purchased two used Jukes at the same time. Both with additional warranties and Cared package for additional tests and inspections such as software updates. Both cars had issues from the moment we arrived.
Car 1 – we emptied our px car, baby and all ready to drive away, but we were unable to tax as it was registered disabled – we were told to come back and collect another day.
Eventually got the car home to discover the tyre kit was missing.
It took 4 months to get a copy of the MOT
Car 2 – 30 seconds after collection an engine management fault came on the dashboard the I phone on the way home, the sales man was busy.
At home I then discovered,
a missing boot cover,
no tyre kit,
faulty stereo,
broken USB,
A broken fuel pump,
a noise from the engine bay (which later transpired to be an unconnected turbo pipe under the bonnet).
I requested paper work to confirm all work had been carried out, I never got this.
The 2nd car was rejected and after 30 days, 3 months later I was given a like for like replacement.
I wrote to the MD of Pentagon, who failed to respond, but I received correspondence front the UK sales manager who personally inspected this vehicle.
The agreed minor works requested had not been carried out on collection, so the car was rejected instantly on collection.
2nd attempt a week later.
Then the towbar I requested to be fitted had faulty electrics and needed replacing.
The rear seat was broken and could not be lowered
The stereo was faulty
The clutch rattles
The handbrake had not been tightened and the car rolled away when I got it home
The vehicle does not have a Nissan Service history
The tyres were 50% under inflated.
No MOT certificated provided.
Once again I have been given the run around, the car has been back repeatedly, being returned with the odd issue fixed, the clutch still being my main concern (and reiterated by 3 independent garages).
I have approached Nissan UK customer services, who are utterly useless – they have no interest in getting involved, they make the right noises but when pushed for action, they fail to answer questions, phone calls or emails. The whole matter is now in the hands of my Credit card company.
